How To Make a Palm Cross

Step 1: Obtain optimal palm. You want it to be thin, but not too thin. Long, but not too long. Stiff, but not too stiff. Honestly it's whatever one would make the best whip 

 Step 2: Look to your mother for guidance. Return to this step often, because she's the only one in the whole church who knows how to do this apparently 

Step 3: Fold the top about 1/4 of the way down 

 Step 4: Fold the bottom up so that the resulting bend/loop meets the end of where you folded step 3 

Step 5: Attempt to fold back so that you can make the right arm of the cross

Step 6: Lose your hold on that fold and cry for a while 

Step 7: Take a break b/c you realize you gotta participate in the gospel this time 

Step 8: Attempt steps 3 through 5 again. Don't forget step 2 

Step 9: Finally complete your cross, even tho it's all lumpy and weird 

Step 10: Attempt this five more times 

Now you have the perfect palm cross!
