This work began with an idea to create a hybrid series that would incorporate mixed media paintings and using software to manipulate the original images which were very soft and textural, and create a digitized collage of the original art that would play those textures against the sharp edges of the geometric, pop art inspired shapes. I also wanted to create a series that would have a sophisticated, yet retro feel and would look perfect individually or as a series. Each piece is 40" x 40" giclee on canvas that has a 3" white border, with a float frame, ready to hang. This series is also available on acrylic or metal.
