Sprouts was selling big ass pine cones for 2.99, so I bought one for Pan. Unfortch, it reminds me of his phallic part, but I know he likes it *eye roll*

Went to the flea market last weekend and found a bunch of awesome stuff for Pan’s altar. Including this wreath that I fell in love with instantly and completely changed the idea I had for his altar. So now his altar is this wreath hanging above my dresser, and I can glue or tie smaller offerings onto it and later expand his altar onto my dresser.

Also this pic is from before Hubby hung it up on the wall for me, but it shows the lantern I turn on for Pan in the evenings.

Had a busy day today, but it was very enjoyable.

I started by going to Walmart and getting the stuff I wanted to set up a home altar as well as a small “hearth” I can use to burn first bite offerings to Hestia.

All the candles currently have the names of the gods written on the bottom so I can keep track, but I’ll be painting symbols for the different gods on them. Hestia is represented by the candle on the offering plate, and the other 13 candles are the 12 Olympians and Hades.

DO THE MINI FIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I set this fire on the stove top, with the vents running and a fire blanket nearby if I needed it. I also had a fire extinguisher nearby and Daddy used to be a fire fighter.

I also got some fabric for altar cloths for Ares, Aphrodite, and Pan.

Ōkami, the BJD, isn’t part of Ares’ altar, but I like the thought of him guarding it.

I also picked up a beautiful white Hyacinth, having no idea what it was and being very happy to find out that’s what it was, a sacred flower to Apollon. Plus it smells amazing.

Then I went and cleaned up my parents’ garden in honor of Persephone. The lantana bushes were looking pretty sad, but they look much better now.

Finally, after a self-care shower with Aphrodite, I made offerings to Hestia, Zeus, and Apollon in thanks for them as household gods. I decided I would do this on a weekend day since it’s a bit longer than the first bite offering to Hestia with every meal and libation to the Agathos Daimon with dinner.

I offered olive oil to Hestia first. Then a cutting from an oak tree in my yard for Zeus Herkaios and honey for Zeus Ktesios. After, an offering of a cutting from my hyacinth for Apollo Agyieus. Finally I gave Hestia the last offering, a libation of fresh water.

Sorry for such a long post but I really enjoyed my day and spending my time honoring the gods, and I wanted to share.
