Until the last moment… Yanni - Until The Last Moment - Violin Duet - Samvel Yervinyan -http://bit.ly/2gxw28c It is about appreciating life as we all know life is very short and is very fragile also…. so here is my testimony of my last experience abroad… I ve travelled to this place each time all alone and Thank God no one knew I knew greek and i kept listening to endless conversations during the trip, in the taxi, in the monastery and so on everywhere… stories stories sins , people who think they have no sins, people who think this place is for a season only due to heat or cold and so on… Jesus… I also heard people talking about stories or people judging other people with really bad “side ways”…. I call them the “un-sin-fool” cause they simply fool their selves and think they are somehow Saints and keep forgetting where they are or where they came from … judging them? perhaps if you see it in a certain perspective… felling for them? yes.. indeed… But somehow it all comes to this… The Quiter you become… The more you can hear…. If we could simply stop and appreciate life before we open our mouth and stand above ourselves and see us… judge us first and foremost.. LOVE would be all around this place… I read this below in St.Antony’s Monastery and really stayed with me forever… Godbless.. “”Physical detachment from the world helps the soul to reject the worldly way of life. Experience shows that human salvation is harder to achieve in the world. As Basil the Great points out, living among men who do not care for the strict observance of God's commandments is harmful. It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to answer Christ's call to take up one's cross and follow Him within the bounds of worldly life. Seeing the multitude of sinners, one not only fails to see his own sins but also falls into temptation to believe that he has achieved something, because we tend to compare ourselves with those who are worse than we are. Furthermore, the hustle and bustle of everyday life distracts us from the remembrance of God. It does not only prevent us from feeling the joy of intense communion with God, but leads us to contempt and forgetfulness of the divine will. This does not mean that detachment from the world guarantees salvation, but surely does help us a lot in our spiritual life. When someone devotes himself wholly to God and His will, nothing can stop him from being saved. St. Chrysostom says: "There is no obstacle to a worker striving for virtue, but men in office, and those who have a wife and children to look after, and servants to see to, and those in positions of authority can also take care to be virtuous””” #TheWAY #Greece #Meteora #Athos #USA #Arizona #Phoenix #NY #17Monasteries #desert #philotimo #StAntonysGreekOrthodoxMonastery #God #Faith #Cross #panosphotographia #StNektarios #panagiotisfilippou #AllAloneInTheNight #trip #Incognito #Spectacular #Scenic #Landscapes #spirit #dad
