Characterization

BASICS Name: History (I'm pretty sure most of you have worked out a backstory, so could you link it to me? or else tell me about it here) Magic abilities:  "Good" personality traits (like what she would say she's proud of when asked about herself): HONEST "bad" personality traits (she would probably not like to admit this about herself, or may not be aware of it):

RELATIONSHIPS So, the "big four" are all friends, but who is your character closest with? Who does she confide in? Who does she joke around with? Who does she argue with the most?  As for the side characters (like Hesse?) I'm not as familiar with these so could you name the most important ones for your character? I'll probably do another post about relationships with side characters once I figure out who we're working with. If you want you could even fill out this whole form as the side character GASP depending on how important you feel they are to the story

GOALS Short-term goals (like getting good grades, having a boyfriend, etc): Long-term goals (or what your character wants more than ANYTHING ELSE, like uniting all witches, saving the spirit world, becoming a lawyer, I don't know?): Conflicts (what is she up against? Could be internal or external):

CHANGES So this is a narrative of some sort... what are some changes your character goes through from the beginning to the end (whenever that might be)? This seems to be pretty character-driven instead of plot-driven so try to think about how the other characters are helping your character change, not just the events of the story!

WORLD It seems like you guys have pretty good magical worlds as backstories/alternate dimensions.... what's the "real" main world like? Modern-day New York? Modern-day (made up name) small-town USA? Some sort of modern fantasyland not identified as being in the US? Smaller than that... where does the story take place? Do they go to school together? Or live together, like a boarding school/orphanage/summer camp? How did the setting bring them together? How is magic/spirits/the supernatural viewed in this world? (a Harry Potter-like culture within the main culture? Totally unknown, except for a few people who think they are the only ones? Publicly accepted that it exists, but most people just aren't involved with?)

PLOT Okay, I know you guys don't necessarily KNOW what's going to happen, but does anyone have ideas about events that are going to happen at some point?  Or have an idea for your own character's arc but don't know how it will fit in the main story? 

Last but not least (for now)..... What do you picture the final product being like? A graphic novel? A series of webcomics? A novel?

Anyways you guys can involve me as much or as little as you like... I've always loved the ideas but couldn't think of a character to add, so I wanted to join in another way :)

31: what were you doing an hour ago? I went to the grocery to get cinnamon rolls ‘cause my roommate and I needed some comfort food.

my kitty seems to be doing better today. she's kept down her food and meds so far today at least. she's got another vet appointment for monday, but i'm hoping it'll just have been a fluke (maybe the food she ate yesterday just didn't agree with her, or she ate too much too fast, or something), so i'm just gonna keep an eye on her til then and just try to make sure she stays hydrated and stuff and hope for the best.

I know that we don't interact much beyond our tumblr posts, but I just wanted to say (again) that I think you're super cool and badass. I love all of your posts + commentary. You come across as such a strong woman (and obv I love any kind of Trekkie, but I especially love lady Trekkies <3333).
