Hey panda, sorry to bother you! Since you have experience with cosplay, would you be okay answering some cos-questions? I'm making a tech-priest atm and am really worried about heat, since the con's in July T_T I have some experience, but not with wearing armor in summer. With your sororitas, did you overheat a lot? Do you only wear the armor in cool weather? My plan atm is portable fans around the neck and maybe short-shorts under the robe xD

You don't bother me at all! :D and it's always ok to ask me questions (some of which I may even have the answer to, like this one 🐼)

A lot depends on the max. temperatures and how much shade / resting places you have at the con. But in general, i would recommend to use natural fabrics like pure linen or cotton, as they help with temperature regulation. Linen is particularly good for summer and has a cooling effect on the body. Of course it's a bit pricier than mixed fabrics, but i would really advise against anything containing too much polyester or similar for summer heat (it's basically plastic and won't allow your skin to breathe properly. You will end up as a sweaty mess with a skin irritation if all goes wrong). Furthermore, try to build your armor with EVA foam, as it is a tad more breathable than Worbla and always, always put a layer of fabric between you and the foam. Or, alternatively, line the inside of the armor with fabric, if you don't want to wear anything underneath (i just say, boob armor lol)

Fans around the throat is a very good idea and fits the theme :D but also, don't forget to drink water every 30 min or so! 2.5 to 3 L per day in heat.

Make sure that your armor and cosplay is practical, as well as beautiful, because you will need to be able to get to the loo (you may think that this is totally obvious, but it wasn't for this panda when she started doing cosplay and ended up in one where she almost couldn't use the damn restroom lol)

And if you want to make a pole weapon, i recommend using a pole as a base that you can unscrew and take apart for easier transportation :)

"Achilles Come Down" by Gang of Youths is just *chefs kiss* for Hunter's character. It goes well with his various feelings of when he was the Golden Guard, up to getting possessed by Belos. There's even a part of the song where I associate with Belos' abusive words coming through and where (now, because I've associated this song with him before Thanks to Them) Flapjack comes through and brings him hope.

And the line "the most dangerous thing is to love" is just SUCH A GOOD LINE FOR HIM 👏 He's been disconnected from any kind of familial/close bond his entire life and is terrified that if he does connect, they will get taken by Belos. This is sadly represented by poor Flapjack in the end, he was his first friend and then got destroyed by Belos. But this is also a good turning point for him, "you will heal and you'll rise above", which he is (slowly) learning to do!

Agh it's just a great song for him in general! I hope to make an animatic for it one day even if it's an almost 7 min song 😅

As for Griftwood, I took a listen and I immediately got hit with the religous vibes and my mind went to Belos. It even further went to Belos with the line "you and the greatest deciver" as well as the chorus itself. I feel it heavily relates to Caleb pointing a finger at Belos like, "look at you, look what you've become for your so called 'beliefs' " And all the while, Belos is agreeing, not seeing the hypocrisy of it all. It gives off a very corrupted preacher/religous figure vibe that fits Belos well!

For The Assumptions: Julian always tries to keep you in bed in the morning because he's a snuggle bug and also 100% a sucker for sleepy morning snuggles. If you manage to worm out of his grasp, he'll get up and follow you around like a lost puppy, trying to wrap his arms around you and nose into your hair.

I love morning snuggles, and we would both look like Medusa in the morning due to our unruly hair.

The following around sometimes goes both ways, but usually he'd be giving me piggy back rides to the kitchen so he could prep breakfast. It takes me a while to fully wake up.

EVERYONE SWITCHED THEIR ROLES FOR A DAY AND ITS A DISASTER (spy and medic swap, demo and heavy, etc.)

Spy is a terrible Medic, everyone calling for his name having to run every which way and that noT to Mention Scout who Wont sTand still for even 2 fricken seconds so spy can heal him. He accidently ends up uber charging one of the enemy members and he just gives up.

Medic would make a good spy iF hE waSnt sO loud. This man was trying to sneak up on enemy sniper when the sniper sneezed and Medic said "Bless you"

Demo cant even lift sasha, like help this man. He only manages to drag sasha like 5 feet but by then the match is already over.

Heavy, bless this man. He's smart but he's not good with explosives. He ends up blowing himself up quite a few times. Not to mention his hands are so big so messing with all of those tiny wires and such is really hard.

A/N: Sorry for taking so long with this!!! Halfway through school right now!! 

OTP Drabble Challenge: #99 “This bath is too damn hot.” - “This is why we can’t do cute things. You complain too much.”

It was one of those days in which you were not having the best ones. You had to do some paperwork, making sure everything is staying organized, help Henry stock up at the Curio Shop, had to help some of the Rooks out of a bar fight and fix one of the wheels of the wagons they used for transporting materials. It was not one of the best days.

Going back home to your apartment/Rook base in Lambeth, you were just dog tired and just wanted to take a bath and head into bed. You didn’t expect Jacob to be there. 

“Hello, love. How was your day?” He asked come up to you to give you a kiss. You just back away, groaning in disgust cause you didn’t feel up to it. “Rough one, huh? Anything I can do?”

You groan as you sit down in one of the chairs at the table, whining about how you didn’t feel up to anything while taking your boots off. “I would really like to have a bath and then head to bed.”

“I’ll prepare the bath for you, dear. Just relax a bit and I hope you don’t mind if I joined you.” Jacob says kissing your head and disappearing down the hall towards your bathroom. 

After a few minutes, he came back, noticing that you took off most of your clothes. “Your bath is ready, madame.” he says, gesturing down the hallway as if he were your butler. You just groan and head to the bath.

Once there, you see that the steam of the water filled the entire room. Going over to your bathtub, you test the water and jerk your hand away. “This bath is too damn hot.” you say annoyingly. 

Jacob just groans, annoyed at your behavior. “This is why we can’t do cute things. You complain too much.”

When he said that, you felt like a child, staring at the floor. “I’m sorry..” you say, almost to the verge of tears.

Jacob’s eyes soften at your gesture. “It’s okay, darling. You’ve had a rough day, anyone could understand that.”

You smile, kissing him on the cheek. He then gets rid of his clothes and out of the rest of your clothes, going into the bath first and you join him. That night was when you were most relaxed and you owed it all to him.
