I love Haiku by Tally Hall, specifically because it’s so close to being an actual haiku, but the syllables are off. The fact that they can’t,, and are showing they can’t by making the song an almost-haiku just makes me so happy for some reason

unironically the only artists youll see me headcanoning Stan as a fan of will be like. a bunch of hispanic artists. SORRY BUT HIS YEARS IN MEXICO DEF INFLUENCED HIM.
im talking, Celia Cruz, Jeanette, Los Caminantes, Juan Gabriel, Los Terricolas, Vicente Fernandez, Los Tigres Del Norte. Caballo Dorado He's burnt multiple dvds with at least 5 Hispanic songs, he cant help it.
Maybe the other artists he likes would be Frank Sinatra, i think Filbrick was very into it and had a record player for Sinatra vinyls. Maybe ABBA, definitely Queen, Blondie, The B=52's, Pink Floyd, Jeff Buckley, Tears for Fears, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead. yknow, rock.
and maybe chappell roan, i think he'd fuck so heavy with Pink Pony Club...The Subway. That's like the only girlie pop artist i can see him liking.
I think hed like Sir-Mix-a-Lot for sure. This is kinda just my music taste but like. come on. youre telling me Stan wouldnt love THE yearner Frank Sinatra? maybe ill throw in amy winehouse into the mix!!! thats all i can think of right now.
Crane Wives Lyrics X LMK Angst.
Okay, the new Crane Wives Album and the song 'Say It' SCREAMS Past Shadowpeach/Eclipse Duo/Sundial angst. 'Did the real me corrupt the fantasy?' 'Did I disappoint you?' 'Say it if it's over, Say it, so I can move over' 'Please don't leave me in the dark' 'Haunted by, your tenderness' 'You gave me a soft place to lay' 'Say it! If it's done, say it so I can move on' 'If you could would you erase me?' 'eradicate me from your mind?' 'If we we're to meet as strangers again, would you refuse to meet my eye?' 'Would you let me, pass you by?' 'Say it, if it's done, speak the words so I can move on' 'You know I'm loyal to a fault, I will sit here waiting' (I don't know, I was up listening to their new album in the middle of the night and had this thought so here I am writing about it.) (I LOVE THE CRANE WIVES SM)
Was just looking at this painting called The Awakening Conscience by William Holman Hunt 1853 analysis and I was like "Hey, this kinda felt like Rabbit Hole Miku."
Seriously, they just kinda resembled each other. The three rings on the lady fingers except for the one at her ring fingers. This might be hinting that she has everything, except for people who actually loves her. This also brings back to the Rabbit Hole Animation by Channelcaststation (ik it's not official shut up) to the card scene. She has all the King card, except the Hearts one. Idk but this feel like an awakening to me akegaiagaj
Btw it is also implied the lady on the painting is a sex worker
The differences between them is the lady in the painting looking at the window, trying to capture that she really wants to take a new way. Yet the cat who is chasing a bird, a clock trapped by a glass, she cannot escape. Yet, her gaze seems to be hopeful.
While in Rabbit Hole Miku, she looked directly at us the viewer, gazing us in alluring way. Based on the lyrics, she might not have the conscience like the lady on the painting yet.
OML I FEEL SO CRINGE WRITING THIS AKWHSKABAB. I DON'T FEEL MY GRAMMAR IS GOOD ENOUGH TO EXPLAIN WHAT IN MY HEADBBJEJEUEJEHEEH
Song ask:
Obviously Hunter!
Reverse:
What character comes to mind when you hear Griftwood by Ghost?
Oh I have so many songs for Hunter, but my absolute favorite:
Today, of all days, see
How the most dangerous thing is to love
How you will heal and you'll rise above
Crowned by an overture bold and beyond
Ah, it's more courageous to overcome
"Achilles Come Down" by Gang of Youths is just *chefs kiss* for Hunter's character. It goes well with his various feelings of when he was the Golden Guard, up to getting possessed by Belos. There's even a part of the song where I associate with Belos' abusive words coming through and where (now, because I've associated this song with him before Thanks to Them) Flapjack comes through and brings him hope.
And the line "the most dangerous thing is to love" is just SUCH A GOOD LINE FOR HIM 👏 He's been disconnected from any kind of familial/close bond his entire life and is terrified that if he does connect, they will get taken by Belos. This is sadly represented by poor Flapjack in the end, he was his first friend and then got destroyed by Belos. But this is also a good turning point for him, "you will heal and you'll rise above", which he is (slowly) learning to do!
Agh it's just a great song for him in general! I hope to make an animatic for it one day even if it's an almost 7 min song 😅
As for Griftwood, I took a listen and I immediately got hit with the religous vibes and my mind went to Belos. It even further went to Belos with the line "you and the greatest deciver" as well as the chorus itself. I feel it heavily relates to Caleb pointing a finger at Belos like, "look at you, look what you've become for your so called 'beliefs' " And all the while, Belos is agreeing, not seeing the hypocrisy of it all. It gives off a very corrupted preacher/religous figure vibe that fits Belos well!

This song is pure gold. This is the imagery it gives me when I listen to it.
A wooden cabin in the middle of a forest, surrounded by wild flowers and a stone path leading towards the door. The light seeping through the trees gives the surrounding a fairy tale glow.
There live two people, who were so broken when they found each other, hurt by the stories from the past. They work together on healing each other.
They garden together, ending up streaked in dirt and grinning wide. They watch the sunset on a rock at the edge of the cliff.
At night one of them plays the guitar and sings to the other (or they both sing together)
Mornings of cooking for each other
Nights spent in each other's arms
Knowing what each look means
Holding each other through bad day
Writing their own story and making it better this time
Creating their own normal for what "real people" do doesn't fit anymore
