My main harddrive is failing in a spectacular way that locks up my whole PC and I really have no other contingencies for a computer to use
If yall would wanna throw a couple bucks my way I would be infinetly grateful - it'll all go straight to a new HDD to replace this 10 year old hunk from a brand no one knows
I have issues with the tadc writing but I also have issues with the extreme critics but I Also have issues with the general fandom but I ALSO have issues with the outside "omg this fandom is the Worst Fandom EVER" crowd but I A L S O have issues with how the general fandom AND the outside crowd treated black fans during the controversy a few weeks ago, BUT I A L S O HAVE ISSU-
Hi, hope your doing well, 👋🏼I just wanted to ask you if you’re gonna come back and draw some zutara 💙❤️fanart , and also have you seen the leaks of the new atla movie or just screenshots what’s your opinion etc… And sorry if I’m bothering you to still drawing, take your time and I love your art so much.
English isn’t my first language
Hi @mimimoonstruck! If the past 20 years have taught me anything, it's that I will always return to drawing Zutara fanart (and my best boi Druk). Unfortunately, I went through a period where I wasn't happy with anything I was drawing, and was super busy with life stuff, so art wasn't happening. I've still been lurking in the Zutara tag on AO3 most nights though.
I only knew that there had been movie leaks because a friend texted me about them (I've been working on a massive project for months and finally finished this past weekend, hence having time to check Tumblr today). I haven't seen the new film, but with each new piece of media featuring the Gaang, Bryke risk pushing AtLA closer to sequel decay diminishing the reputation of the original. I hope they'll focus on new characters in the Avatar world moving forward because I think their strengths are in interesting worldbuilding ideas rather than in characterization (I would watch the heck out of a show that was just like... a random teen in the Avatar world dealing with shenanigans that come from living in a world with benders). That said, I've seen a couple of clips of the film (I'll watch the whole thing eventually). Thoughts: the animation is very pretty (albeit sort of uncanny valley feeling to the original show), Katara and Zuko as adults are 11/10, why do the creators hate Suki?
Also, it's sooooo embarrassing that they forgot Zuko's lightning scar. Luckily the movie isn't officially out yet, so maybe if enough people point out their mistake on Twitter and Instagram, they'll have a chance to go fix it before the real release.(^ - ^✿)Because wow, how embarrassing to forget something that major wow it's definitely a mistake and not some weird intentional powerplay. (But actually, someone come up with a catchy hashtag and let's make it go viral?)
Thank you for the compliment! I'm planning to get back into drawing now that my schedule is a tiny bit more flexible and see where it goes. Who knows, maybe this will be the year I also finally write that Zutara fic I've been planning for years.
(And your English is amazing, I would have had no idea it wasn't your first language if you hadn't said anything).
okay i watched the third episode and it was...fine? expected to hate it or love it based on the response, but honestly, it was just fine! scott and kip were cute, loved kip's friends, and the episode itself was well paced.
ill decide how detrimental i feel it may or may not be to the overall telling of shane and ilya's story once all the episode are out, because that's gonna be the only way to see if spending a full episode on scott's story affected that at all. but rn, i dont think its gonna cause any issues? three episodes left to spend on the remainder of heated rivalry doesnt sound impossible imo.
not gonna make an overall comment on pacing just cause they only had 6 episodes with no guarantee of a second season, so the pacing is what it needs to be to fit everything they can.
and obviously, scott is important to the overall story but i also actually think this sets something up maybe cool if they get another season and adapt the long game? popping that under a read more just to avoid giving away anything to those who haven't read the books.
its mostly with kip to be honest. in the books, scott has no idea that shane and ilya are a thing but here, its basically said outright that he knows SOMETHING is going on and i think that could lend itself to him and kip being around more in the long game.
and i think ilya could really use kip there (and maybe kips friends but thats mostly me just wanting more of them in general lol). ilya's biggest struggle with their situation in tlg isnt necessarily being secret, but having no one in his corner who knows and he can speak plainly with.
similarly, kips biggest problem isnt necessarily the secret, its lying to everyone he loves for it.
two struggles shane and scott dont really have to the same extent (shane having his parents and best friend in on his sexuality AND who he's with and scott more being invested in keeping the secret before he comes out).
genuinely, i think ilya having someone who was in a similar situation talk to him (and because scott knows i think its very possible he shares it with kip knowing he won't do anything with it) could be really interesting and a good way to bring together multiple plot lines.
well kip and troy, cause we have to get troy and harris too.
so like, honestly, im here for what this might bring around in tlg, if they get another season (and hopefully more episodes lol)
Okay, so I admit I'm not really a Godzilla fan, I think the whole universe is cool, y'know, but I mainly heard this from my boyfriend...
Godzilla fandom, what the actual fuck is wrong with you? Bullying a fucking fifteen year old child? Because what? You can't let anyone be creative and have fun? Because your all just a bunch of fucking man children that think you know better then everyone else? Fuck. Off.
You're pathetic. I thought we were pasted harassing CHILDERN on the internet.
