Iāve never understood women who choose to pander to men, and thatās coming from someone who doesnāt buy into tribalism based on identity.
From a business standpoint, women are one of the biggest consumer groups, and people tend to follow trends and buy what they see other people buying. If my goal was to make money, Iād be marketing almost exclusively to women. Iād be selling makeup, hair products, clothes, shoes, accessories, courses, you name it.
Iād lean hard into the whole āgirls girlā and sisterhood culture because thereās a market for it. Women often seek community and support from other women, and thatās something businesses can easily monetize. The social benefits might be real, but if weāre talking strictly business, the money is where Iād see the biggest opportunity. š¤
The market is better because you donāt have to constantly sexualize yourself or sell a fantasy just to make money. Most women arenāt getting rich from onlyfans anyway; thatās genuinely rare. Imagine putting all that out there and still struggling to make money.
I also donāt think men are reliable enough to build a business around. That market is oversaturated, competitive, and often tied to selling your appearance. If youāre going through something personally, plenty of men will simply move on and spend their money elsewhere.
At least when youāre marketing to women, youāre not necessarily relying on your body as the product. Women are also more likely to stick around, support brands they connect with, and spend money for reasons beyond physical attraction.
I donāt buy into the whole sisterhood thing, but from a business perspective, I can see more advantages in appealing to women than pandering to men.
And one last thing, onlyfans works a lot better when you already have an audience to capitalize on. Building one from scratch is harder like a lot harder.
