All humans are clumsy to them, some more than others and they’re glad Jessica’s not as clumsy as Bella or else it’ll be baby proofing the whole castle. They’d always be there to help her if she’s about to fall or trip or in Caius’s case, “will you ever be careful”

Jessica is not safe from the pandemic, so how will the volturi handle this? Will they take her back to volterra immediately? How will the trio and Jane and others react to the pandemic and Jessica's safety?
Just like how the Cullen’s have their own private island, I expect the Volturi possesses at least one, if not few private islands and properties that are quite secluded and hidden away from majority of the civilisation. Jessica would suddenly be taken away by men in black, put on a plane and placed into one of those island with very little contact with other humans until it is over. I think this’d make a good story plot for a short story.
The Volturi asking Jessica to just take online classes so she can stay in Volterra? Imagine, Jessica speaking and reciting on class, then one of the trio or Jane shows up behind her telling her something so Jessica has to mute herself again to ask what they want, lol.
Hahaha that’s so funny to imagine! It’d suddenly become gossip zoom session with people would end up asking who that hot guy is while the professor is trying to no avail resume the lessons. Demetri is most likely to be distracting and pulling something funny behind her and it’d end up with Jessica turning off the camera.

Yes I’d prefer rather a son, a daughter is better for Alec and even better if she resemble Jane and it’ll be the most touching sight to see this cold, numb vampire melting into most gentlest, loving guy when he interact with her. Cue the most protective auntie in the millennium, Jane.
Since gender equality makes up a miniscule of our history (50-60 years in comparison to 2000 years+ of women’s oppression), do u think our male protagonists will still hold some of this view? E.g: objectifying Jessica and imposing traditionally held gender expectations (obedience etc..) on her? It seems unrealistic for these ideologies to just vanish after being so deeply ingrained into their heads. The philosophies on women’s rights from a 21st century American female will surely cause conflict
No - the female vampires are as equally strong as male and some of the strongest vampires in the world are female i.e. Jane, Siobhan who was known to be strong beyond many human male and this ability were more visible as a newborn.
Even in Volturi, the vampires that are the cornerstone of the coven are females: Heidi, Chelsea and Corin. There's Renata who is Aro's personal bodyguard, Jane who are tasked to be the leader of important missions and Aro chose Sulpicia who was just as ambitious and cunning as himself and Didyme went against her brother by choosing Marcus over her clan and family.
The positions of the women they surround themselves with are in anything but the traditional role people expected women to be in the past and even now.
But when it comes to their desire for Jessica's obedience stems from their superiority as vampire and from position of someone with more life experience, wisdom and insights because Jessica need to realise that the moment she became involved, her decision and choice are not bound to her own anymore - it will also affect them and she needs to understand this.
