Moody Mondays A throwback to my last minute trip to catch The Son. "A teenage boy struggles to hide his vulnerabilities and his descent into the abyss of depression, while coping with the bewilderment at his fracturing family, who are in turn at a loss as how to help him" Pangdemonium bravely brought the audience through the raw pain that any child would feel from the affects of divorce yet exploring the common misconception about mental illness. The Son isnt the first show to dwell on the topic of mental health. This is because though we live in a world with better forms of communication, we actually fail to communicate how we feel. Go catch The Son, to be awakened to the reality that we may be pushing others into silence. Also check out the information about mental illness before or after the show to learn how to better refer help to friends or family or even yourself. Use this as an opportunity to reach out for help. Show ends 7th March 2020 at the Drama Centre Theatre. #thankful #pangdemonium #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #theson #goodthingsmustshare (at Drama Centre Theatre) https://www.instagram.com/p/B89JoFdnPZX/?igshid=orkfpnr97lh3
