lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other? I don’t really have a best friend, since I reject this concept, but I tell you about my oldest and most constant friend. We met almost twenty (!) years ago in seventh grade, when we both started to attend grammar school. For an entire year we had absolutely despised each other. I thought she was a square teacher’s pet and she regarded me an impudent smart-ass. At the end of seventh grade we went on a school trip, where someone had ripped apart a classmate’s sheet. We both went investigating that crime, without any serious success, but we became close friends on the way and still are. That’s a nice story, isn’t it?
maple - is there a hobby / skill that you’ve always wanted to try but never did? One? There are like a thousand. I’ve always wanted to learn more languages (Icelandic, Estonian, Irish Gaelic) and play some more instruments (violin, saxophone, guitar). I’ve also wanted to try archery. And many more things I can’t ever recollect now.
