1. Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic. Fluff. Simple as that. Tons and tons and tons of sappy, romantic, horribly tooth-rotting fluff. Maybe a clichéd love confession thrown in. Preferably no smut (or just alluding to it), loads of descriptions of sensations (mainly touch), tons of (back) hugs and neck kisses and nose rubbing. Maybe a little angst as well, but always, always, a happy end. A couple of very long sentences where you being to read but forget what has been said when you finally reach the end. A couple of wannabe-poetic comparisons. And even more fluff.
9. Which fic has been the hardest to write? There are two, really. One, Brothers in Arms, because it’s a monster and my first multichapter in English. (We’re still working on part 2, oh dear.) It has been huge fun to write, too, don’t get me wrong, but there was so much plot to think about and the consistency and keeping it exciting and gaaaaaah. It took a lot of work - but it was so worth it! And then there’s also my Gisduil oneshot. My first PWP. I’m not very much into smut, writing even less than reading, and I wrote this for a dear friend and god. In the end, I hammered it into the keyboard in a matter of two hours, but it was so bloody hard to write! I hate using explicit words and describing… that… in detail, and this was what I had to do in that fic and ugh. I remember squirming uncomfortably in my chair all the way through. But my friend loved it, so - worth it. :’D
11. Is writing your passion or just a fun hobby? Ohhh… it used to be quite a passion, when I was younger. When I was four, I’d scribble my “Guinea pig book” where I painted a comic with little speech bubbles for my, you guessed it, guinea pigs. And from then on I was really obsessed with writing. I always wanted to be an author. But with entering my training, it has necessarily been reduced to just a hobby; and one I can’t do regularly. But I’m sure as soon as I’ve passed my exam in September, writing will be back to being a passion!
16. If you only could write one pairing for the rest of your life, which pairing would it be? Why. Why do you ask me that?! This is unfair!But I’d probably go for Richlee. My one and only real people ship, one that isn’t quite officially canon but almost, and I’ve written them for a couple of months now, so I feel most comfortable with them. Also, they are cuties. I love cuties. Because fluff.
20. Describe your perfect writing conditions.Alone at home (with nowhere to be), maybe a little rain outside, it’s warm in my room and I’m on my bed (maybe wrapped in my blanket), there’s music playing (preferably Sunrise Avenue or the Hobbit Soundtrack), I have a cup of hot chocolate next to me, and a lot of inspiration. (Writing with@attichen is also very amazing!)
21. How many times do you usually revise your fic/chapter before posting?Never. I can’t bring myself to look at it again, I just pay special attention while writing and then post it. I usually come back to it after an hour or so, so I basically correct the thing after I posted. xD As for revising scenes, all the time. I jump from scene to scene, start somewhere, realise I have to go edit another one, and then do just that.
29. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?Oh dear. All of the ones I love, really. There’s tons from the Richlee folks I won’t mention here because you don’t read them, and your “All good things end” as well. So many. But I would never actually do so because those fics are perfect as they are and I’m not nearly as talented as their authors are, and so I’d never dare to even propose the idea of a sequel or prequel.
