“Yo, is this me?” I said, grabbing several loose sheets of paper that were on Papyrus’ desk. He let out a distressed squeak and lunged across his bed in order to attempt to stop me from going through his art. It was already too late as I was already thumbing through the countless pages of portraits, all of me in different mediums, poses, and expressions.

“There’s so many.” I could feel my grin soften as I studied numerous illustrations. Each one captured my face in extreme detail, instead of feeling like I had been examined, I felt like I was being admired. I could feel the love oozing from each piece of paper.

“I think you captured my essence really well. Look,” I held a particularly large graphite portrait up next to my face. “The resemblance is uncanny.”

“I think I prefer the real thing.” he mumbled. I could see a dusting of yellow on his face when he swiped the paper away from me.
