Inconsistencies/plotholes in Dispatch 🕳️¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- people pointed out Robert outstanding survival instincts (he acquired dodging the traps of people seeking to kill him for years), so how would he let himself be "lured" into his own place and let Toxic know his place of residence? And why didn't the Red Ring retaliate right away knowing he was mechaman? 🤔
- what happened to Beef during Robert's coma?? ANSWERED in the notes
- why did Blonde Blazer wait for Chase to be in a coma to realize she could borrow her power to him via her crystal ? I understand it was a life or death situation and sometimes that's how unexpected solutions spark and I liked this plot twist, but it felt kind of 'out of nowhere' (I also wonder if in near future she'll also borrow her power to Robert to turn him into a full super? or maybe that shit only works for super and upgrades already existing powers?)
- why didn't Blonde Blazer send Robert into ER after being tortured by Shroud? she instead flew him away on some billboard to talk about shit for whatever reason as if home dude didn't get beat up like a piñata minutes before 😭 like- yeah I get that for the plot Robert had to be around & alert to make the last dispatch against Shroud assault but it didn't make any logical sense to me
- if Shroud could anticipate events, why didn't he anticipate Invisi betraying him and enrolling to the SDN?
- why did the Red Ring attack the whole ass city of Los Angeles when they only wanted Invisigal (they just realized she had kept the Astral Pulse for herself)? It would've made more sense to either: 1)assault the SDN headquarter to blackmail Visi into surrendering herself ("give the Astral Pulse or we blast the whole building off") 2) track down Visi (like they/Toxic did to find Robert's house). This move felt disproportionate to their actual direct goal, and TBH we don't even have the clear intentions of Shroud (does he want to destroy the SDN? erase the Mecha Man lineage? Rule the city with his own company of super villain? none of that shit is actually cleared up in the end)
- during the SDN siege : why is Robert so wary of attacking that one goon from the elevator ? Dude has been ripping eyes out of sockets and bit off fingers without any hassle during the Sardine brawl (even the fandom raved about how FERAL he was during that fight), but taking down one (1) villain alone is suddenly a big deal ? meh.
- if you give both the real Astral Pulse and the "synthetic" one at the end, Shroud throw away one of them - WHY?? ? it would've make more sense for him to take and study both and check which one was which. Why tf would he throw away one of them and plug that shit into his brain without knowing what was the deal with that move. For someone allegedly predicting every possibility dude was surprisingly dumb & naive for behaving so hastily. I understand he was looking for the Astral Pulse for YEARS at this point, but the same way he didn't kill Robert on sight when they met at Sardine, he could've been a bit more patient & smart instead of being so impulsive, idk
