Fun Fact about Danny Fenton in the world of JJK - Jujutsu Kaisen
For this post. This is me talking a lot but I want to share my enthusthaism regarding crossovers and how Danny Fenton will fit into the JJK by mixing the lore of both series.
Here we go! It's a long read!
Ghosts do exist in Jujutsu world however...they are seperate species of the paranormal race compared with cursed spirits. Ghosts are souls of humans who are unable to pass on or do not reincarnted. While some are considered vengeful spirits, some ghosts cannot move on as they have unfinished business or live inside the ghost zone as they wish.
The Ghost Zone by all accounts are a separate realm within the layers of heaven, hell and limbo. In fact, they are parallel world of the human world, two sides of the same coin. Anything happens to the human world can happen to the Ghost Zone and vice versa.
Now the question is...what about Tengen's barrier? How would affect the Ghost Zone? While it's true Tengen's barrier made sure the massive amount of cursed are highly concentrated inside Japan, leading to the birth of powerful sorcerers and as well as cursed spirits in Japan.
This barrier affects the Ghost Zone where ghosts were warned not go to Japan because of this. Any cursed spirit inside the ghost Zone would be hunted down immediately.
Cursed spirits and ghosts cannot mix as both prey on each other.
Not only that, ghosts are considered by extent as cursed spirits despite there are good ghosts like Cujo, Clockwork, Princess Doretha, and Wulf. Therefore, they are grounds for exorcism by jujutsu sorcerers.
While ghosts are much stronger than the average curses since curses are born from negative emotions and ghosts are beings that used to be human, now souls of ectopalsm. However grade 1 and above are trouble and will wreck havoc inside the ghost zone so Clockwork put restrictions on ghosts from entering Japan and make sure there are zones sealed within certain areas of Japan.
Not to prevent ghosts from entering but to protect them from both cursed spirits and jujutsu sorcerers. Especially from the Heian ones.
Tengen knew this and thought it will be fine as no ghosts will enter. However, nobody took account for Danny Fenton's since he's half ghost, easily making his new second home in Japan.
Note: Tengen knows Clockwork but they don't meet as much as anymore. Both are cordial with each other.
Now where does Danny Phantom come into play?
If Gojo Saturo took one look at Danny Phantom, he would be surprised and intrigued as he is both human and ghost.
So it's hard to place him in either category whether he's cursed spirit or human. While Gojo is a reasonable sorcerer and would convince Danny to enroll in his school but under the guise that he's human while keeping ghost side as a sercet and diguised as a cursed technique while teaching him about jujutsu.
If found out, the Higher-Ups would consider Danny Fenton a threat and want him exorcised or executed. But it won't happen as long as Gojo is there...however he would be treated as a weapon like Yuta and Gojo given his Special Grade status.
Other sorcerers like the Zen'in and Kamo will regard him as abomination and demon except for Norotoshi, Maki and Mai once they get to know him better.
With the students, Itadori might find him cool, Kugasaki will ask him about his powers and ask about America and its fashion and Fushiguro is Fushiguro, he might keep an eye on him but he will ease up to him. Toge will find him interesting and Panda will get along with Danny just fine. Yuta might befriended Danny.
The pro sorcerers such as Nanami will treat Danny as a child and will know more about him. Mei Mei will find information on him with the right price. But she will be hired by Vlad to keep an eye on Danny and his whereabouts.
Now let's move onto the curses, how he interacts with curses like the Disaster Curses would be mixed.
Hanami would treat Danny cordial and find him curious, asking what difference between ghosts and curses therefore, their encounter would be friendly at first before it changes later on. Danny would treat Dagon almost the same and Dagon would see him as fellow curse which might cause conflict in Dagon, unsure if he's a curse or a human. With Jogo, Danny would be annoyed by his speech about how curses are true humans and blah blah blah. While Danny sympathizes with Jogo, he will stop him from hurting people. In fact, Jogo would be confused, angry and demanding why Danny sides with sorcerers and humans! Which might be funny in itself.
With Mahito, Danny will absolutely detest him and his existence if he finds out what he does to humans and learns about his personality. Especially if he finds out what he did to Junpei's mom.
As for curse users....
Kenjaku would be estastic and interested in trying to find out how Danny's existence came to be and what makes him tick! Because he is trying replicate what he was doing with Death Womb Paintings and sees Danny as a happy accident...almost like a blessing and asks how ghost work, ghost zone and Fenton gadgets. Kenjaku might be obsessed with him to where he wants to do experiments on him making Danny cringed and might consider him more of a fruitloop than Vlad. Danny will stay away from Kenjaku as much as possible.
With Sukuna, it goes either way and will have Sukuna intrigued, wanting to fight Danny and to see if ghosts are all they said to be. However, Danny would be scare of Sukuna given his cursed energy but his heroism might overcome that fear and might give Sukuna a amazing battle.
But for Oda verse, Danny is found by Oda, gives him refuge and keeps him safe from other sorcerers, and curse users. Oda wouldn't want Danny to be found by Jujutsu Tech because how bad the system is and will treat Danny as a threat or worse, a weapon. Of course, Danny will learn about jujutsu and in exchange replicate the Fenton technology to help Oda to combat curses using the thermos and other gadgets, giving Oda an advantage over other clans as they embrace modern technology.
That's all I have to say on the matter but please feel free to ask questions through comments or through anon asks!
