BLOODLUST

vampire starter prompts-ACCEPTING!
[ BLOODLUST ] the sender has gone too long without feeding, base instincts taking over, the receiver finds them.
Ragged red converses hit the sidewalk, as Conrad looked frantically around the area. The scents of the night would usually be calming, but they weren't what he was looking for. For at the moment, he was looking for the scent of his roommate who he'd realized hadn't asked him to feed. For WAY longer than the usual agreed upon time. Conrad had been busy with a test coming up (one he genuinely wanted to pass and had been actively trying to study for) and had become lost to the fact he hadn't offered and Dee hadn't asked. Fuck, they really couldn't communicate for shit, could they? Conrad's pupils contracted, as he picked up the scent he was looking for. Turning sharply to the left, Conrad ran as fast as he could. "Be okay, be okay, be fucking okay-!" he muttered under his breath like a pray, before turning the corner. He could see Dee. And normally, that would be a relief to him. But when the other's eyes met his own? Conrad had been scared in his life. He put on a tough face, but he wasn't going to act like he'd never felt fear. But the way Dee's eyes looked at him now- well, Conrad wasn't sure if he could recall the way it sent a shard of pure, ice cold animal terror through his veins. One so strong, he couldn't actually get his voice to work, his jaw frozen in a closed lipped clench as he felt his heartrate spike. Forcing himself to breath, Conrad managed to open his mouth enough to speak, "Hey asshole." Conrad said, the words crass but spoken with a soft sort of affection. He didn't step closer to Dee, choosing to stay where he was. He didn't know exactly what a starving vampire would act like, but from the research he'd done into the topic (reading some articles online, watching copious amount of horror films and just a general common sense idea of what a creature who needs blood to survive might be like it that need wasn't fulfilled for a prolonged period) he had a feeling it wasn't the kind of thing he should take lightly. "You must be starving. Why didn't you tell me you needed to eat?" Conrad asked, something a little angry in his tone, though it was intertwined with heavy concern. "We gotta get back, you're not-" Conrad's words cut off. "You're not safe to be around." "You're not looking like yourself." "-You need to come back. We'll figure shit out once we get off the street." Conrad decided, looking around to make sure they were still alone. "You uh, you haven't had any snacks while you were on your walk tonight...right?" he asked, hating to ask. But he also knew that when Dee was back in his right mind, he'd want to know if anything happened while he was in this bizarre, corpse-like state (sure, he was always corpse-like by virtue of being a vampire, but this was a totally different level!)
"You know what? You don't have to answer that right now. For now, just come back with me so we can get you something to drink, okay?" Conrad asked, voice sounding hopeful as he took a small, tentative step closer to Dee.
The angel tilted his head confused watching the female closely. "So your a werewolf."
"Kind of in some sense I am." She nodded her head. "Why chicken wing boy? Is that an issue?"

Muse: Isabella Meyers
“What you saw last night... You can't talk about it to anyone...please. I know it's hard to process but.. But if a hunter hears that a werewolf is in town, I'm as good as dead.” she tried to explain though her heart was racing furiously. It wasn't supposed to happen, they weren't supposed to be around during the full moon. What a reckless and dangerous thing to do... It could have been their scent triggering the shift faster or maybe the way they made Isabella feel. Being around them made her feel all kind of things she'd rather avoid for that very precise reason.
Just a sentence I love so much. I’m editing the next chapter and I am again fully immersed in the vibes of the story:
Their beasts were restless, nervous. The chilly winds were whispering and Steve sensed Greenland as a pressure in his bones. Time wasn’t on their side. (Ke Hiki Mai Ka Pō - When The Night Comes)
Brandon's grey eyes flashed silver as his adrenaline spiked. He took a quick, silent count of who was around him. There were ten, maybe more, but at least ten, most of them armed. Luckily he could sense most of the weapons couldn't kill him but they would hurt like hell and a few were wielding silver. Or worse.
He could feel everything, they'd beaten him. He wanted blood, he could taste it but that was his. He managed to his feet, growling, trying to attack the one closest to him. There was a burning, an agonizing flash and he woke up in a new, thankfully cool, place. He was alone in a room of stone and metal, iron he thought. There was a burning on his stomach like hed been branded. He pulled his shirt up to look, and there was something....a sigil, it looked tattooed but it burned.
He tried to tap into his magic; to send out a sort of distress call, an sos. It didnt work though, he felt as if hed been set aflame all over and lost consciousness at some point. He woke with someone looking down at him. They were shaking their head, as if disappointed then left. He rolled over, pressing his stomach to the cool floor. It was enough to let him sleep. He woke to pain and screaming the word "Help" with what his abilities could manage.
Pack Pack Kill Kill - Closed Starter w/ @the-mind-of-xelyn‘s Werewolf!Markus and Werewolf!Rachel
This wasn’t supposed to happen. She was supposed to be careful. She had been taught all her life not to go anywhere near an established territory or an area where other werewolves had clearly been. When a werewolf was shifted, they had very little control over their primal instincts, both those that were turned and those that were born. Even those that had far more control and sapience when shifted couldn’t quite control themselves.
Especially males had this issue. When growing up, they were particularly volatile. That was why Rachel had always stuck with her sister on nights of the full moon. Just so they wouldn’t be easily targeted by teenage werewolf boys hoping to rack up a score.
But now living in Detroit, Rachel wasn’t with her sister, anymore. And she’d just made one of the worst mistakes a werewolf could ever make. Facing off against a pack alone.
She had no pack of her own and now she was backed into a corner, the blazing moon beaming down on every large furry body in the area.
Rachel stood on her haunches. She couldn’t submit to them. She knew what that meant and it would not be pleasant for her. So, she fought, her hackles raised and her teeth bared as she took swipe after swipe towards the werewolves encircling her. Her amber eyes burned with determination.
She would not go down easy. Even as a lone wolf, she would not be so easily dominated.
Raising her tail as an additional threat display, she snarled heartily, spitting at the other wolves as she squared her shoulders in preparation for another attack.

Au starters
The full moon wasn't Samuel's favourite time for a multitude of reasons.
Reason A) The transformation was painful and left him in a largely vulnerable position for most of it.
B) The concept of being a werewolf as a whole was the dumbest topic Samuel had ever heard of. He spent his life seeing them as mystical and non-real creatures that frankly made no sense biologically.
Because after all, gamma radiation was one thing, but for it to create a form similar to a werewolf in concept? God, it made no fucking sense and no matter how much research he did into it, Samuel couldn't find a specific circular point over the effects from radiation. Was it a psychological effect, some sort of base instinct being ripped out from the barest points of their soul?
In any case, point C) Samuel looked fucking stupid as a wolf and was the smallest, only coming up at 6'0 when he was on his hind legs.
Rhys didn't seem to think so however, even when he heard the reasoning behind Samuel, he always seemed to find them amusing or interesting and was more than happy enough to give him the time of his day. It meant...so much to Samuel honestly, that he had someone there, someone who wanted to listen and didn't mind the fact that he basically took one step back in evolution.
"Darling," He sighed, a fond smile coming to his face when Rhys seemed to be insistent on helping him undress somewhat for the full moon. "You really don't need to do this every time, I'm not delicate and this isn't my first time transforming you know."
Even so, the other man's careful and loving care with him sent a small part of Samuel swooning. Hardly anyone had ever been this gentle with him before and every time Rhys did it, it stood out to him and made Samuel want to do everything to make the pale man happy and wish to stay.
Even if it meant letting Rhys be around for some painful transformation and then letting him look at some silly form of his.
