As a general rule of thumb:

How do you decide where to add punctuation to your replies? Which song(s) are you basing the flow on?

how i mainly do it is see if i can match the words to any sort of rhythm in my head, typically 1-2 bars worth (because thats the length a typical turn takes in the parappa games), then i add punctuation based on the timing/intonation of how i imagine parappa would rap it.

they arent based on any song in particular, just whatever melody pops into my head ^^
