Random thought

I both love and hate the ost to Zaxxon’s Motherbase 2000/Parasquad. It sounds like the ost wants to do an overall techno/energetic feel of that Einhander did a much better job of doing like two years later.

I appreciate any game that tries overusing cheesy samples tho.

Why did they even rename it to Motherbase 2000, anyway? does it take place in the year 2000? it seems awfully futuristic for 1995′s view of the year 2000, since it was kind of five years away. maybe if it were an 80′s title it would be understandable, but it makes less sense when it’s a 95 release, and it’s also a bit too soon for it to have 2000 at the end if it’s there to celebrate the upcoming millennium, since it wasn’t even 1998 or 1999 yet.
