ALSO yap session but one thing i find more interesting about the toppat recruit ending than the pardoned pals ending in thsc is that with pardoned pals, we betray the toppats, but they barely know us and we ending up mass murdering all of them anyways so theyre kind of just in hell like "those two were bitches man", but in the toppat recruit ending, charles is still alive, and now hes left to wonder why two criminals literally looking for help after escaping a cruel facility wont side with him. even worse, it uses the pure blooded thief ending in ita, henry literally goes rogue and betrays the goverment yet charles still remembers him, implying that just that little amount of interaction they had was enough for charles to not forgot him after at least a week. plus, in one of the ita routes where you tell him you dont need his help, he response is kind of disappointed, almost like he feels guilty trying to help and now feels useless, so just imagine how useless he feels seeing two criminals not want his help.
