Do you have any headbcannons of Harry as a first time father for James?

Yes about a thousand

Is he stressed? Heck yeah but he's also the happiest and most excited he's ever been in his life (aside maybe from when he got married to the lohl)

Proudest dad in the world. Also so proud and in awe of Ginny. Needs to tell everyone James hits a milestone even if minor. He hates talking about himself but he loves talking about his boy

He finds a new sort of connection with his parents as he takes on the role of parent. He does go through another wave of grief but he also feels closer to them

Holds him so much that Ginny has to actually ask to hold her own son (Harry that's enough he's hungry so unless your milk has come in in the last half hour you're going to need to hand him over)

Actually invents new protective spells because he is so determined to protect little James

Tells James in the middle night they'll always be there for him no matter what and that he's so loved

Nearly cries the first time he says 'my family'

After the war, Draco escaped to America to get away from the stares and accusations from the rest of the Wizarding community. When his best friend wants her apartment done up in his now-famous personalized wooden furniture, he decides to return despite old ghosts that he’s sure are hanging around. “Can I do your hair please?” - Drarry

Harry stood behind Draco and watched his husband brush out his long pale hair. He’d been growing since they started dating and now it reaching well past his waist. Harry loved running his fingers through it and wrapping his hands up in it. In the mirror, Draco looked up at met his gaze. 

“Can I do your hair?” Harry asked, moving close behind him and resting his hands on his shoulders. 

Draco handed him the brush, “Sure.” 

With slow even strokes, Harry brushed his hair until it gleamed. He leaned forward, pressing against Draco’s back, and set the brush down. Then set about braiding his husbands hair until he had it all tied back in an even plait. When he was done, he kissed Draco on the temple, “There. All done. Let’s go to bed.” 

“Thank you, love.” Draco turned and kissed Harry on the chest. “Let’s go to bed”
