Parent Voice Strategy - in brief
Good morning. A text message should have gone out to Parents/Carers about reading this blog post at some point today. You are all involved!
This year's strategy will be meeting and online based. The Body has decided to arrange one or two Parent Consultation Meetings, one before the online survey and one after to analyse the results and build a plan for the future. Dates will be announced shortly. The online survey will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes of your time to complete and gives you the opportunity to share your thoughts on how the school is run, the teaching, the learning that takes place in the classroom amongst other things.
This is your opportunitity to get YOUR voice heard. So please make the most of it and listen out for further correspondence about this matter.

Parent Voice news
The Body has been working hard discussing and planning our strategy for encouraging Parents and Carers to share their views on the school.
We have decided to launch this when we return for the Autumn Term 2011/12. We are sorry that we did not get this launched before the Summer Holidays. There's been lots of events going on so anymore would have disrupted other things going on.
This will give us the necessary time to keep on discussing and then making the right resources for this project to work for the Parents and Carers of our students.
Have a good weekend, and don't forget to use the new online calendar to keep track of the events taking place this month.

Student Voice - A success?
When myself and the Body's members were walking around yesterday, everything seemed great! The pupils were getting involved in the tasks and sharing their opinion through more exciting ways than just talking to a teacher or Parents etc.
We will gather the results back from staff in the meantime and then find a way of publishing them online or through a letter.
The Body will be starting to discuss Parent Voice, the next stage of our project very soon. Keep your eyes peeled here and on the Twitter account.
