Virgil: Don’t worry, I’m not a gossip. And if I were, it wouldn’t be to my little brother about my dad’s love life.

"They're impossible!" Deceit shouted, throwing his hat and into the wall, and his cape to the floor.
Remus glanced up from where he sat on the couch, scissor and paper in his hand and other crafting materials and other materials that wasn’t meant for crafting strewn all of the couch and floor and the coffee table, a tub of glitter glue between his lips.
"Wha’s wrong, Sankey?” Remus asked, before spitting the tube out to be able to talk as he turned to look at Deceit, giving the older side his full attention. glitter still sticking to his moustache and lips. Leaving whatever nightmarish creations he was making for now behind.
Heavy Heights
Trigger warning: kidnapping(?), abduction of a small child
Notes: the ending to this sucks. Also, this is based off of the song used in Draikanator's pmv by the same name, Heavy Heights.
Dolos sat peacefully on the porch. A pleasant smile across his lips as he watched his two boys play in the golden glow of the sunset.
They lived out west, where the fields looked absolutely gorgeous around sunset.
Remus was digging in the dirt, occasionally showing his baby brother worms and other small creatures he stumbled across.
The single father could hear Virgil squeal when Remus held up one of the field mice, which the older of the two promptly let go. It was so peaceful out here, no neighbors to bother them, and town was a few miles away, so it wasnt too hard to reach.
Dolos let out a contented sigh. He could close his eyes for just a moment.
But a moment is all it took.
His mismatched eyes shot open at the haunting sound of a scream. His eyes darted across the dirt where his sons had been playing. Remus was there...
"Virgil?!" Dolos called, sitting quickly out of his chair. He almost tripped down the steps, hoping to see where his youngest son had gone. All he needed were the large wings of a bird and the small shape in its talons to know.
The tears welled up in his eyes, making them glossy as he fell to his knees in the dirt.
Remus quickly scrambled over to his father, eyes wide with terror and confusion. "Papa?? Virgey..!" The small child's green eyes darted from side to side, unsure of what to say or how to say it.
Dolos tried to calm himself, tried to keep the tears at bay for a few seconds longer. Their were no neighbors in sight. Town was miles away.
Dolos was mortified, sadness welling in his heart as the reality of it all hit him like a million bricks. But he couldn't not say anything, Remus was just as confused and terrified as he was, if not more.
"Virgey," he tried desperately to keep his voice from cracking, "is going to be gone for a while" In an attempt to comfort the child, Dolos pressed Remus's hand to the boy's heart. "But he'll be right here, forever." He gave his son the best smile he had before hugging him close to his chest.
