Okay so here i am getting back into Tumblr, why not i figured i need to keep up on my blogging, i miss it so much, i think i need to do a whole life update really.. from how much has gone on here recently.

Now lets talk books though!

I recently went to the library about idk.. a day or two ago to pick some books out, i got three, two i returned today since they wasn't my taste.

First being

Love, life and the list -Kasie West.

My reasons for not particularly liking this book, now i definitely think for people younger than my age it's a pretty good book, i think it'll entertain them.

I know I'm not the oldest (19 years old)

I thought the book sounded like a fairly good novel at first for young adults, the characters are around the age of 17.

So i figured eh, two years isn't that far of a distance I'll probably vibe wit it.

I did not, i feel like the book was from a adults bad idea of what teens that age act like, it felt like the ... Story or idea of what was gonna happen was set in stone but pretty much everything else was more or less... Filler content.

Anyway, much love to the author though.

I'm glad her book does well with younger kids.

I'm getting slightly bored with the selection of young adult romance novels so i switched it up this time, i stuck to the same young adult area but this time i decided to get one mystery novel and a horror novel.

The books i have together is one by Emery Lord i have read her books before, can't remember if it was when we collided or girl in pieces by her.. either way! She's a good writer, the book i have pictured here!

Don't ask me where I'm from - Jennifer De Leon

It's about race, i haven't poked too much into books about race but I'm very excited for this one !

Devil in Ohio - Daria Polatin

Haven't had much ideas about this yet, had Ohio in the name so that made me like it (ohioan shit i know) plus it's a horror novel so I'm really interested in it.

💜Today’s close up post is about this hair tie. I quickly took out this hair tie at the end of a long day as I typically do, threw it on my nightstand and went to bed. I was tired, and feeling very overwhelmed that day. Life was feeling a bit much in that things kept coming at me. ⁣ ⁣ 💜I decided I wanted a sip of water so I sat up, turned on my light and realized that this hair tie was in THIS SHAPE. I blinked numerous times thinking I was just seeing things because I was so tired, but nope it was actually in the perfect shape of a treble clef. ⁣ ⁣ 💜In that moment, I felt a sense of calm and happiness! Music has always brought me that content happy feeling. In the midst of that overwhelm (and honestly forgetting the most important thing I do and bring to tihs world – MUSIC) I received a reminder. ⁣ ⁣ 💜Now, depending on your beliefs, you might think that it was just a coincidence, or perhaps maybe a sign.. but either way, it was exactly what I needed at just the right time. ⁣ ⁣ 💜Reflecting on that a bit, it is sort of a reminder that all those things that brought so much overwhelm to me that day, the things I needed resolved, or fixed instantly, well, they would all be okay and resolve in perfect timing. And you know what? I don’t even remember what it was I was so stressed about! ⁣ ⁣ 💜I know, that right now tensions are high with what is going on around the world, (especially with the germs!) but I do know, that if we do what we are supposed to do (wash hands!) and let time take it’s  course, it really will be okay.
