Cities and countries are as alive, as feeling, as fickle and uncertain as people. Their degrees of love and devotion are as varying as with any human relation. Just as one is good, another is bad.-Roman Payne In Libra places, we found beauty and elegance reflected in every corner. Fashionable cities and regions where equality, art, music, culture, and looks are important. These places hide real architectural wonders, where there are usually a lot of people around. The oriental culture is a clear example of how traditions and urban splendour are perfectly combined, it is fascinating to see how temples, palaces, skyscrapers, avenues, or food markets are mixed. Places with special spots with a strong smell of spices and noise, others calm and silent nearby, so fascinating and capable of captivating anyone. It’s interesting to notice, how being social is treated in its right measure, their citizens like to gather in places and have fun, but at the same time are very protective and jealous of their culture, time and spaces. "You may be as different as the sun and the moon, but the same blood flows through both your hearts. You needs her as she need you.” [insp.]
Easter
Michelle’s eyes fluttered open to the feel of soft kisses being placed on her cheeks, a smile forming on her features when she was able to see Peter standing at her bedside, leaning down just enough to be able to pepper her with morning kisses. “Someone’s happy this morning,” She commented with a light giggle when she saw Peter’s grin.
“I’ve got a surprise for you and the little ones,” Peter whispered as if it were a secret, making Michelle’s heart want to burst with affection for her beloved right then and there. “C’mon,” He added, gently taking her arms and helping her out of their shared bed, hands wrapping around her waist when she was standing in front of him. “It’s worth it, I promise.”
“Better be, I like sleeping in,” Michelle playfully replied, kissing Peter on the lips sweetly before pulling away and putting on her slippers and robe. “Are the kids still sleeping?”
“No, they woke up about an hour ago, they’ve been waiting for you to wake up so they can see the family surprise.” Peter explained, rubbing the back of his neck shyly before following Michelle out of the bedroom and down the hall, grinning all the more when Mayday ran as fast as she could to her mother, who wrapped her in a tight embrace.
“Hi Mommy!”
“Hey sweetheart,” Michelle smiled warmly, kissing Mayday on the top of the head lovingly. She took her daughter’s small hand and led her to the kitchen, where she was happy to see Benjy sitting on his high chair at the table, playing with his Spider-Man plush.
Michelle had to blink rapidly to fully see what was on the table, Mayday’s cry of excitement in the background as she scanned the objects. There were multiple cups filled with what seemed to be dyed water, the colors pink, orange, blue, red, purple, green, and yellow clearly recognizable. Beside the cups were cartons of white eggs, as well as small Easter themed stickers and spoons to take out the eggs once finished being colored. It reminded her of her childhood, when she would sit around the table with her family and decorate eggs for the Spring holiday.
“What do you think? I thought since it was Easter, and little May-May is old enough to decorate--” Peter began, stopping when Michelle turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him tenderly on the lips.
When they pulled apart, Michelle couldn’t seem to take the smile off of her face, looking back at the table and watching as Mayday sat on one of the kitchen chairs eagerly, her legs kicking in excitement. “I have a feeling this is going to have to be a family tradition now.”
“That would be great! The more family traditions the better!” Peter beamed, following Michelle into the kitchen and taking a seat beside Benjy, who was staring at the cups filled with colored water, the Spider-Man plush in his small chubby hand.
Michelle sat beside Mayday, grabbing an egg out of the nearest carton and handing it carefully to her daughter, who clasped it in her hands gently. “Okay, what color would you like first?”
“Um...green!”
“Green it is,” Peter chuckled, grabbing the cup filled with green water and placing it in front of Mayday, who dropped the egg into the water, making an ‘oo’ sound when it seemed to disappear due to the dark liquid. “Now we just have to wait. MJ, what color would you like?”
“Hmm, red and blue. They happen to be my favorite color combination.” Michelle smirked, looking at Peter in the eyes knowingly, making his cheeks flush with affection. “Thank you,” She added when Peter placed the two requested cups in front of her. She carefully dipped half the egg in the blue, before switching to the red and dipping the other end of the egg in it.
“You having fun, little May-May?” Peter asked with a raised brow, chuckling when Mayday nodded vigorously. “Do you want to do this every Easter?”
“Yes!” Mayday smiled widely.
Peter got up from his chair and padded to the kitchen counter, grabbing a chocolate bunny he had purchased from the grocery store a few days before, before returning back to the table, holding the chocolate bunny behind his back. “Well, I didn’t just get egg decorating supplies for today,” He hinted, biting back a laugh when Mayday and Michelle’s eyebrows raised at him at the same time. “I got my favorite daughter a special treat.”
Michelle giggled when Peter revealed the chocolate bunny dramatically, their daughter’s gasp of surprise and joy making her heart soar. “Aw, Daddy bought you your favorite chocolate! What do you say to him?”
“Thank you, Daddy!” Mayday cried, taking the chocolate bunny out of Peter’s hands and unwrapping it quickly.
“Mayday, don’t you want to finish your egg first?” Michelle asked, watching in surprise as Mayday shook her head and took a small bite out of the sweet treat.
“Happy Easter, Parkers.” Peter said with affection in his tone, sitting back down and playing with Benjy with his son’s Spider-Man plush, making ‘thwip’ sounds as he moved the plush across Benjy’s lap. “I love all of you so much…”
Mo’nique, girl... you’re next.
