March 25, 2026 - Tarim Babbler or Tarim Hill Warbler (Rhopophilus albosuperciliaris) Found in northwestern China, these birds in the parrotbill family live in shrublands, grasslands, and rocky areas. Foraging on or near the ground, often in flocks outside of the breeding season, sometimes with other species, they are thought to eat invertebrates, though the details of their diet are unknown. Probably breeding in May, they likely build deep cup-shaped nests from grasses and other materials like their close relatives, but the specifics of their breeding behavior are unknown.
