Etymology
From Latin, “dimidius“ to “demi-”, meaning “half” +“Outherine”, of unclear etymological origin, coined by user Otiel in 2019. Demioutherine coined by Gent (Gender-Jargon), 2021.
Flag
The Demioutherine flag is a combination of the typical grey/white Demigender flag and the Outherine flag made by user IMOGA-pride. The flag consists of fourteen horizontal, solid-colored stripes, with the innermost eight stripes being 1/4th the size of the outer stripes. From top to bottom, the stripes a re dark grey, light grey, white, grey-plum, teal, green, yellow, light brown, orange, red, burgundy, white, light grey and dark grey.
