Just a brief post. Been busy and haven't posted in a bit. Been playing Skyrim and ESO. Also been starting up my doodling and sketches again after almost a decade break. Nothing had inspired me but recently I've been getting the itch.

Here's two I did recently. Nothing impressive but I'm glad I've got the interest to do it again. These were both free hand with just ink (magic marker/ink pen and paper).

Just some random scene photos from my game. Switching stuff up. Added Val Serano as a follower. I like him. He's currently married to my character Ellanawe (Ellie). I went into his mod completely in the dark. I didn't read any spoilers, knew nothing. I was more confused than a fart in a fan factory for a few quests... user issue... I didn't collect certain items or go far enough to trigger dialogue. Got through it once I figured it out. I watched 0Periodproduction's playthrough on a previous version of Val's mod and can truly appreciate how much work has gone into the follower since the play through by George was created. Some of the new fights were tough and I had to be a little cheaty to get through them. I don't feeling like tanking four behemouth daedra, thanksverymuch.... lol. Of course, I could have simply turned down the difficulty, but who does that when there are console commands?... anyone?? All in all, Val is now a permanent part of my mod list. I do recommend. As for Kaidan, my usual "go to". Decided not to do the full "Frat Pack" companions story with Kaidan and I'm sticking to Val, Kaidan, Gore and Taliesen. I miss the goofy conversations from the frat pack but there's enough commentary to cut the quiet for me. I'm even leaving Lydia at home.... she can block all the doorways at home to her hearts content.. on her own time.

Now for something a bit more different. I usually don' t share my dreams but this one hit me different. A little back story: I have dreams about animals and people that "have passed"... ie: they are dead. I walk through areas with random people talking in small groups but I don't talk to people, I find the animals that are in their "state of death". I reach down and pet them and they wake up in their former form before their passing. I usually stick around and give them attention and love on them while any nearby groups just stare at me like I'm doing something unheard of. Maybe I am? Who knows. Anyway, fast forward to my dream the night before last: Instead of being in an area of light, it was full of shadows with small rays of light coming from somewhere. I slowly walked and I came upon a man standing in the shadow with dim light behind him. When I noticed him, what I could tell by the light behind him, he was wearing some type of long tunic, tenebra or kilt. I wasn't certain, he was in shadow. I couldn't make out his face or really discern what he was wearing but he looked at me and said something that sounded like "Mosheen". I woke up immediately after that and laid in the dark of my room hearing his voice. I went to work but it was driving me nuts, what did this man say to me? I have absolutely NO idea what language it is but I have a general idea what it sounds like so I did a google search of "endearments that sound like 'mosheen'". Google gave me some direction but it may have been Gaelic for "my treasure". I have absolutely NO idea where that come from because there's one thing I know and it's I have zero knowledge of Gaelic. I know English and a little Spanish, that's it. Dreams are freaking wild. Was this an actual person? Was I really somewhere "in between"? Did I accidently wake someone up being there? Was it someone I used to know in a previous life? Or do I just have some wild ass dreams? This is going to be something I'm going to be mentally chewing on for a while.

Just a collection of screen shots from my game play. Nothing major to report game wise. Decided to copy the save to have separate romantic options with one for Kaidan and second for Gore. I've completed Kaidan's quests and it's all well and good but I was curious about Gore's. Surprisingly, it's short but sweet... a wholesome awkward and I like it. In fact, I almost prefer it to the over the top ovations. Actions speak louder than words. As a bonus, Gore is very well written and the mod author updates him regularly when time allows for it. I even donated so I could have my character's name added to the list of names used by Gore when addressing the player. Why not? Show some love and appreciation to the mod authors, they work hard on what they create. Their time is worth something, is it not? I believe in donating something when I can to the mod authors when I can. One hand washes the other, if you catch the meaning. Anywhooo... I need to get ready for work. Woke up at 4:00 am and couldn't fall back to sleep. Between my anxiety, seasonal depression, CPTSD and real world stressors... it's kind of difficult to sleep well when you recognize what's going on. Be vigilant, be strong, be well and most of all be kind to yourselves.

Just some screen shots of my game play in Skyrim. LORD, I love this game. Just wanted to confess... the replacer for my follower Gore, is quite possibly the most handsome face (next to a irl person I used to know) that I've ever laid eyes on. Got that out of the way... anyway... Still working on the final version of my mod list. Installing what would be useful, figuring out if it actually is, uninstalling it... as one does when modding a game.

Just some screenshot of game play over the last few days - a few being well timed. I found good grass and more trees for the game and I'm quite pleased with how lovely everything looks in game.

Happy Yule to all~ or happy holidays, if you wish ~I haven't really done any decorating in my home this year. I have been fighting off a few mental demons and it's taking all the spoons that I would use for the effort to dig everything out and put it up. I just don't feel like it. The spirit is there, the decorations are not. I've noticed many of the folks I talk to at work are feeling the same, this has not been an easy year. I can only hope and manifest that it will be much better for us all soon. The struggle bus and shit show has to stop eventually. Anywhooooo.... I've been playing Skyrim to fill my time. I tried a few collections on Nexus. They weren't quite right for me but there were some features I did like so I took what I wanted from them and have been slowly cultivating my own mod list. So far, I'm really liking what I've got together but I think I want to add a little more. Trying other people's mod collections has given me a chance to try new stuff, honestly that is a good thing. Stuff can get stagnant. I'm focusing on community shaders and parallax so I have to be mindful what I add with them. I know I want to find the grass mod I was using before, I liked it better but then I'll have to run the PGpatcher and Dyndolod again... I have to admit, it took my embarrassingly much longer than it should have to get Dyndolod to work and silly simple once I figured it out. It's still a fiddly program though but useful. I do need to find a good "camera mode" mod for the game. I haven't found one I like-not a priority but what evs. I've babbled enough. Take care and be kind to yourselves .

More screen archery during game play. The infants in this game are so stinking cute. Got all of the friends together for Winterfest and New Years. Parties are always interesting in the game. Discovered Bruce and Simon find each other attracted.. and now Bruce is calling and wants to hang out with Simon. No Bruce. Go home to your wife.

Playing with fairies in game, my impression: They are pretty to look at and each one is different. Their skills aren't as fun as a witches, however. So I basically play with a pretty flying sim that's it. Do I like fairies? Yes. Do I wish they were a little more for the skills? Maybe, I don't recall using the skills all too often when I played Sims 3, to be honest. What I'm glad they didn't include was the sound the wings made, that used to annoy me while playing so I'm glad these are just pretty wings. All in all, I will give it more time with the fairy skills in Sims 4. At least they didn't get done dirty like the mermaids-The team needs to patch skill trees in for them.

I've been getting the itch to play the sims again but this time I decided to do a fresh save and do stuff that I don't normally do. I decided to live off the grid, dumpster dive and use the dating app. Have to say, this is a fun save to play. I decided to turn my new sim Iliana Joy into a fairy since she's all about nature and mysticism. I also have her living in a area I almost never go to, Moodwood Mill. I dig the vibes there and I like the little house that I built.

Of course, with the dating app I narrowed down two bachelors I liked: Bruce Banner and Simon Silversweater (I fixed him up-I don't care for how he looks out of the box). Iliana was head over heels for Bruce after a few dates and some autonomous woohoo that got her pregnant-I had her ask him his attraction level to her: He told her there was nothing about her he found attractive. I never have had a gut reaction like the one I had when I watch Iliana lose her smile and deflate in front of him. I had her call of the date early and go home. Screw that guy lol. Simon however was pursuing Iliana and it was more like an "opposites attract" kind of thing. They of course autonomously decided to move in (I agreed, of course). I was playing a different sim and went to Iliana and Simon's home and Iliana proposed and when I switched back to their household they eloped autonomously before I could throw a wedding. That's fine, I can throw some type of party or vow renewal thing later. Iliana had Bruce's baby, Ezra who will be raised by Simon instead. Simon is a keeper.

Anyway, that's it and Iliana is my new muse and inspiration on playing again.

Haven't posted in a long while but I'm still here... lurking and liking other folks posts. I got a wild hair to play TS4 this weekend and decided to play a new save that's based on townies I've collected over the years. Behold the children of L. Faba and Thaddeus Wells. They are beautiful (IMO). The twins are a good combo of the parents and I'm glad I found them in game. They are spell casters but their mother is pregnant with twins (again) so I'm curious to see if this will be another set of spell casters or normies. Also curious if they will be another set of beautiful sims or if they will need "interventions" and some CAS corrections. Other than this, I've been playing ESO. Nothing much to report. Getting older, fatter... usual grown up stuff that will eventually happen to us all if we are lucky. It's getting late here, I hope this finds everyone well. Disillusioned - Enchanted by Nature Fixes

Enchanted by Nature so far is aiight, but on god the QC with the items in this pack is like non-existent. some of the lights were search lights, some of the tables had sunken in slots and slots floating away from the item and some items had like 1 slot despite being able to support more... so I fixed it List Below

Burly Basics Cabinets The Double Tile Piece and the Outer Corner Piece had no slots despite being empty and supporting slots. I added 48 Slots for the Double Piece - 6 Large / 12 Medium / 30 Small I added 32 Slots for the Outer Corner Piece - 2 Large / 6 Medium / 24 Small I also removed the occluders to prevent them doing the going dark weirdness.

Mossfire Hearth Literally only had 4 SMALL slots. There's now 11 Small and 8 Medium Slots Arborous Ambiance Desk This one was ... weird. I didn't want to get in the way of the computer slots, There's now 12 small slots to the back end of the desk

Floating Wreckage Shelf This one got me mad, it had NOTHING slots wise despite being a shelf. There's now 3 Large , 7 Medium and 33 Small slots

Fungi Fixture Shelf it had ... 1 slot despite its sizing. and it was small!!! There is now 1 Medium slot and like 4 more small slots.

Leafy Ledge Dresser This had like no medium slots and 2 small slots. There is now 5 Large, 10 Medium and 27 Small Decor slots

Tiered Toadstool Shelves this also had like 2 slots... There is now 1 large, 2 Medium and 12 Small slots

Timber Slice Table Whoever made this slot setup should be fired. The slots were unusable and 2 of them were sunken into the tabletop. There is now 1 Large, 6 Medium and 19 Small slots and none of them should be sunken into the tabletop!

Petal Dance Sink There was 1 slot under the sink and a slot all the way out partying away from the object. I added 5 more small slots.

Floralux Ceiling Light This thang was a WHOLE search light. I toned the intensity down to match its wall friends

Floralux Floor Light The base of this light would go pitch black because the vertex painting was crap, so you couldn't see the cool glowing effect on the bottom It also was EXTREMELY bright. I fixed both those issues. Avery Acorn Nightlight It's supposed to be a nightlight, it was more a searchlight. I toned it down to be an actual nightlight.

Friday after updating and downloading the new expansion, the game deleted my saves and tray file. Not sure how or why but it's done once before years ago. Saturday I sat down and with an old save and tray file I saved, I began going through to update and semi start over my legacy save. As I went to bed Saturday night, a thought crossed my mind: Check my external drive that I've used for stashing folders for back up/updates for Sims and other games.

I was digging around in the files and opened up one folder that had old TS4 saves and then I noticed a folder from January of this year. I don't recall putting it there but who am I to question luck? I opened it up and it was my freaking TS4 game folder backed up in old saves from early last year. How it got there, absolutely NO idea. I moved it to a more obvious spot and made a back up of the tray and saves folders-just in case. Plopped the folders in the game folder, fired up the game and almost started tearing up when I saw my families. The saves were from just a few months behind where I was when I last played but you know what? I don't care. All the families and npcs that I carefully cared for and curated are there. All the homes with all the little touches for each family are there. All the pets for the families I care for are there. I am grateful to the powers that be that guided me to find that damn folder. My cautionary tale still stands though, ALWAYS back up your folder somewhere other than your hard drive. But now I have a conundrum: I have an alternate save cobbled together of my legacy save. I may still play it but keep it completely separate in a folder that I will switch back and forth. In the alternate save, Brianna is still alive and killing it as a famous author and doting grandma. Her children are just starting their own families and moving out. Her son is newly widowed and has moved to San Sequoia. Her youngest daughter and family are still living in a haunted home (I really loved that house for real) and hadn't moved to the desert to live on a horse ranch. Basically, the save was several EPs and multiple extra packs behind the current. I saw an opportunity to play with "What if I did this instead". And I will. In the mean time, enjoy the freaking adorable cats in the alternate reality of my legacy save.

I just updated TS4 and downloaded the new pack. I moved my saves and tray folders during the whole thing and the update went off without a hitch. Cool. I placed the folders back in and started up the game to check everything out.... "Start a new save?" pops up. What's this about? I click the activate mods option and close the game but out of curiosity, I check the TS4 folder's saves. Empty. Check the tray. Empty. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME. I almost threw up on my keyboard. I am sick to my stomach. The last back up of the folder and tray I did was last year, about a year ago. All that progress. All my tweaks. All the children that have been born during that time. Gone. I'm partially blaming myself. I should have backed up to a more recent version for the saves folder and tray... but I didn't and now all of the new generation are gone. They are gone and I'm pissed off.
