All Summer's Eve Desert Rendezvous, Joshua Tree. . The entire road trip was lotz of fun. 11:00AM Pool side drinks @ the ACE Swim Club, mixed drinks on the porch of a desert getaway in 29 Palms, then the music festival and camp'n under the stars. . My most favorite part was the trip back home and driving @wolfgang_91 through Big Bear, Ca. Driving down that humongous mountain in a big vintage van was pure joy ❤. I recall setting aside a shit-load of funds to use on my trip to Japan - It turned out I spent only 35% of the funds with one week left in my visit. I decided to splurge and went shopping, drinking and dining out during my last week. . Dōtombori at sundown is on fire with neon lights. The confectionery company Glico has a very cool and giant installation of the Glico Man which has been here for the past 80 years. . This is the entryway into a shopping mall with some really cool shops. Visiting the grounds of the Sagano Bamboo Forest was incredibly beautiful. . My visit here was to check out Tenryu-ji Temple. Here I am learning about the Temple and not knowing I would later find a humongous Bamboo Forest within the grounds of the Temple. . Kyoto bound. . Dear Dairy, I'm leaving Hirakata and I'm slightly overwhelmed with emotion - I'm homesick, alone and have lots of time left in my Japan tour. . It's around 7:30am. In Japan, the accessibility of an American style breakfast requires effort to find. In my case that's weetabix cereal, almond milk and plain Greek yogurt with a side of coffee. This morning I had a fried maple leaf, fried fish and gizzard legs that I purchased from a corner store - no, it wasn't yummers deluxe (-: .
