Let’s be victims of the cruelty of gods and the arrogance of Minos with mama!
Idk why by pasiphae and the Minotaur got me in a chokehold this week so I had to make some doodles, I like the idea that Helios’s kids have powers relating to the products of the sun, for Circe it’s shadows and pasiphae I think maybe radiation because I think it would be very slay of her to use her magic to explode the guys trying to sacrifice baby Minotaur to Poseidon as a ‘lol so sorry for not sacrificing the first bull’ kind of gesture (not in the og I’m just playing fast and loose with the myth cuz I think pasiphae needs attention)
Pasiphae and Circe (❁´◡`❁)
I wanted to draw Pasiphae and Circe so I decided to recreate this but with my character designs for them
I like having my Helios design just be the literal sun and nothing more
Some Helios and his children doodles
Ariadne's story gets overlooked when it's in fact, a story about self love and healing. The phycological turmoil growing up in a household that felt like a ticking time bomb surely would feel to her hopeless, urging her more to leave this life.
Sometimes parenthood is a difficult task to learn humility and empathy while raising a life. Sometimes however parents forget about that and their kids become a vessel to lash out on them. Parents that get caught up in their own ego.
It must have felt suffocating for Ariadne to live this life. Her journey is a wonderful take on a brave woman who managed against all odds to achieve what she wished for.
Just saw a tik tok about nolan slopdyssey
Spoiler
Circe turns pasiphae presumably into a crow oh my fucking god WE GOT FUCKING PASIPHAE SLANDER??? AGAIN
What did this pooor woman do other than suffer unfairly and blamed by her husband for things he did for her to get slandered so. How did their positions and perceptions nowadays get so reversed 😭 😭 😭 i blame you specifically whoever reading this.
Greek mythology is fun because of how interconnected the family trees are. Like what do you mean that Medea and the Minotaur are first cousins?
And not even half cousins, their divine parents are full siblings (children of Helios and Perseis)
what do you call a greek hero that doesn't believe in violence?
A pasiphaëst
