Day 17- Passerine

Hey chat, school starts tomorrow so I'll barely be able to update on both blogs, I'll try my best but y'know, I got stuff to do

My idk-what-amount reread of the masterpiece that is passerine, written with such care and delicacy by @thcscus that I'm always left sobbing at the end.

There's so many things I can honestly. So many details I want to point out- the pain, the tears, the nights I've stayed up, the sobs I cried during class when Tommy heard his mother's clear laugh, when Techno gave Phil his everything, and so much more.

But what sticks to me the most is how bittersweet it is. How this is the happiest they can possibly be. How that the next generations will know only kindness and peace, and the fact so much has been given so that they'd be happy.

I wish their family could have experienced that; a full life, years and decades together until a content end, but the knowledge that everyone after will is enough.

I'm crying right now as I type this, and even after so many rereads, the emotions are just as raw and passionate when I first read it.

As Wilbur has said, but instead from me to this fic and everything about it, I will love you forever.
