This song by Hillsong United doesn't really have any words. It's meant to be a very raw and melodic outcry. Accompanied by heavy bass drums and the catchy tune, the song is meant to be learned after hearing it only briefly. I remember I stopped singing because the crowd sounded so pretty. Everyone's hoarse crackling voices sounded angelic once combined. ( also I was screaming so I sorta paused to take break lol ) I continued to wail out many reasons ( Gods love , friends and family that don't know Christ , my own salvation etc ). I remember vividly closing my eyes and thinking to God " listen to that , all these people singing to you , do you hear us ?" And I promise you , i could see behind my closed eyes a man in white smiling. It was so quick the image ( sometimes I think i was just imagining it). I just started bawling. I couldn't sing anymore. I was just frozen clutching my chest. It was like the air was taken from my lungs. Not in like a omg I can't breathe I need air , but like a omg I just found a zillion dollars in the bushes and the note on the briefcase says it's for me. All I could do was listen in awe. That was His way of telling me " Yes, I hear you ", and it was just so much. The lights seemed brighter and the voices louder. I cry again when I think about it cuse i will ever forget it. I can't wait to ask Him one day about the encounter.
