I did it because I thought it would offend you; but, as you made no objection, I never did it again.

Harry Potter: What do your enemies call you?
Assertive communication is not aggressive communication
It can come off as aggressive if you have trauma or make you feel like you’re being aggressive if you’re used to being passive
But please believe me theres a difference between being assertive and being aggressive and being assertive is the clearest form of communication you can use
Why Are Some People Passive Aggressive?
Have you ever met someone who was so passive-aggressive, that you couldn’t call them out? They seemingly said nothing wrong, but the tone they used implied something else… Passive-aggressive people just have a sneaky way of using aggression, so they aren’t flat-out caught with ill intentions. Passive-aggressive behavior is characterized by indirect resistance to the demands of others, and avoidance of direct confrontation - often by pouting, procrastination, or misplacing important materials. So, why do people use this type of behavior?

i got a new skirt today. i was lucky enough to get a 90% discount with a coupon for an item that I've wanted for forever. i didn't tell my mum i bought it because she hates everything I wear, but when I got home the package was there, she's the one who received it.
since she always demands to know the things i buy, i showed it to her, very happy and excited.
pretty much as soon as I left her room, she said very loudly, as if talking to the dog: "why don't you ask your sister why she never gets pretty stuff for her mother, huh? all these purchases and not ever an outfit for me."
mind you, every time I buy something i make sure to get double. pretty pens, food, notebooks, I'm never allowed to order out unless there's something for her as well, even when i go out to buy essential groceries I get something for her just in case she gets mad i didn't, but we have totally different styles of dressing. I would never even know what to get her. last time I bought her something to wear (jewelry) she never wore it then donated it.
hello voldemort, I am bisexual
And yet even with all those options you still have not settled down with a nice pureblood person and co-created an heir.
Next time you come home, it better be with a suitor in tow.
what if there was a batman story where mentally ill people weren't used as props. just an idea
