time-bridge-time
had i been born a thousand years ago,
i surely would have been templar or witch.
of the two, i cannot yet decide which.
it’s so long past, the ancient gods might know.
had i been born a thousand years ahead,
timeseer or starsettler i might claim,
maybe hardcoded into my geneframe.
time elusive, forward destiny fled.
i stand now, no path or prophecy seen.
today, the world falls open — in between.
old hunts new,
new hunts old,
slow and sure, driving us over the ridge,
past-future, i might build the joining bridge.
