how would coffee, edge, axe, and rus react if their S/O was having a panic attack? or just in general needed affection?

As for during:

Edge- He’s seen Red have panic attacks before, and he has them when there’s a thunderstorm or fireworks happening. He hates when it’s happening to him, but he’s never really helped anyone through one. However, he does remember what Red always does when he has one. He doesn’t crowd you if you’re pacing, or he’ll crouch down to be closer to your level if you’re huddled in on yourself. He lowers his voice and tells you to listen to him, and focus on him. He’ll tell you to count to ten with him slowly, as you sound out each number loudly. He makes you repeat this until your breathing evens and you’re no longer panicking. When it looks like the worst is over he’ll pat your head and tell you, that you did a good job.

Rus- Gets on your level and starts humming, then singing a song. He keeps singing until you focus on him, and just sit to listen as his lovely voice hits your ears. He gets panic attacks all the time, and usually he fights through them alone or with Black. He doesn’t want you to be alone.

Axe- Seeing you panic, almost makes him panic. He’s very shaky as he tries to calm you down by getting you to focus on your breathing. He tells you that he’s right here, and he’s not leaving. That you’re safe, and everything’s going to be okay. Axe has panic attacks a lot, and he always needs to hear those things when he’s panicking so he’ll do it for you.

Coffee- Despite maybe seeming like he’d panic this is one of the moments where Coffee shines. He has severe social anxiety and panic attacks are common for him. He knows how they feel, and he knows what to do to help when someone else panics. Coffee makes sure his voice is soothing as he asks if you want to go outside. Fresh air can help! He’ll talk, actually talk without a stutter or pause as he gets you focused on him. He makes sure you know he’ll only leave if you ask him to, and that you’re safe. You’re always safe with him.
