Giovanna Fratellini (Oct 27, 1666 - April 18, 1731) was a Florentine artist during the Baroque period. Born in Florence as Giovanna Marrmocchini Cortesi, she married in 1685 and changed her name to Fratellini. I love creating ethereal, atmospheric paintings. I’ve mostly been doing nature studies with soft pastel, though I hope to try portraits again with it soon (in my own style, of course), working up to combining the two. 💖 In my brain, I’ve already done it, and it’s beautiful. 😂 Now to bring it to life!
