Today was my last day of high school and some of my friends organized “operation bubbles” where it was basically a bubble flashmob in the courtyard (which was shut down only after 10 minutes due to the slippery floors lol). Also, yesterday some guys organized a “seniors slip and slide” in the football field which turned out to be incredibly fun and the weather was perfect, and honesty I’m so happy I ended high school on a positive note considering how sick I was this year.
I went from laying in bed for 4 months, barely able to move without fainting, to non stop cry laughing with my friends in the last 3 days of school. It was the most socializing I had done all year and it was exhausting, but in a good way!! Usually these types of things aren’t a big deal, but I was just really happy I made it through the last week of school without feeling too sick and ruining the fun. *knocks on wood because we still have 3 exams to get through*
I won’t miss the unreasonable deadlines of course, but I will miss days like this and I think everyone can agree with that.
