I'm currently playing in a Lovecraftian themed Pathfinder game where I'm a clown Bard
And this makes sense to about 5 people but I'm proud of it anyways

Anonymous sent: currently dming a party where instead of rolling to see if this strange bard who looked like cher was lying about not knowing what a cow is the entire party just kept rolling to draw cows in the dirt until bard cher understood what a cow was.
This sounds like very many interactions I have had with my own group!!
Feel free to send me your own RPG stories and I’ll draw them!!

(I never did design her wings, so that’s why they’re so undetailed. She got them by drinking a mutagenic drug, as one does.)
I was feeling nostalgic this morning so I doodled my war priest back from our pathfinder campaign

Collaborated with my little sister for our characters from a pathfinder game! :3
Ok, this is always bugging me. HOW do you get yourself banned from playing a class? Just what makes bards so utterly destructive that people outright ban them? Please explain it to me, as a GM I literally cannot fathom what would make someone ban a whole class for a person.
I will defer to my GM and his comment on Facebook:
I also once used illusions to create angels that condemned an NPC’s actions to the point that the next time we came to town, they entire city had fallen into a religious schism. And used my rock star abilities to get us past a military patrol at one point that might have otherwise killed us. And convinced a blind dragon to attack a battalion that was following us another time. And I’m absolutely certain there are others I’m forgetting. According to @geekgirlsmash, the backstabbing wife mentioned above, there were frequent moments of “Fuck you, Devin, how am I going to fix this plot now?” after our sessions.
Though, in our defense, the postal system was started as a joke and we mainly used it to make fun of each other’s characters for most of the campaign.
The thing is, I can come up with a lot of ways I might be able to talk myself and my party out of trouble. The Bard class gives me the Charisma-based skills and rolls to back it up. They’re not one of the most powerful combat classes, but they’ve got a lot of freedom in their support stuff that allows you to use a lot of creativity. Which his apparently dangerous in my hands.
