I experience sexual attraction, but because of my OCD induced germophobia I find sexual acts gross and repulsive even when I am attracted and want to have sex. I was thinking of coining the term pathosexual to describe this specific experience, but is there another term that covers this?
Nothing as specific, but there are some that may cover the general idea:
Aco-/Acor-: “Experiencing attraction that one wants to act on, but at the same time having a strong aversion to engaging in it due to bad experiences, apprehension, trauma, or other misgivings about being involved in romantic relationships or sexual activity, etc.“
Apothi-: “An orientation defined by repulsion. Whether or not they feel a type of attraction is irrelevant to them due to their repulsion towards the idea of being in that kind of relationship.”
ARC-: “The general term for a person who feels averse, repulsed, or conflicted towards sex, romance, etc.“
Neuro-: “Umbrella term for orientations that are exclusive to neurodivergent individuals. May also be used to refer to any orientation which is affected by the owner's neurodivergency, ie. a neuroabrosexual person would feel that they are abrosexual because of their neurodivergence.”
Neuroa-/Neuro A-: “Feeling attraction or wanting to participate in actions associated with a type of attraction, but you are scared of, repulsed by, or averse to them due to being (or relating to being) neuroatypical, neurodiverse, or mentally ill.“
