Most people do. It was what I liked the least in the first movie, too. I prefer the "Thor as fish out of water" stuff, like Thor: The Mighty Avenger.

It's because of help from all of you that we will be able to get this ball rolling! Thank you so much! Looks like a Pacific Rim convention is that much closer to becoming a reality!

Before I end this post, I would like to tell you guys a little bit about our con staff and how we came together to create this Pacific Rim convention.

After being inspired by Jaegercon, a Pacific Rim meetup/photoshoot was organized last minute for Dragon*Con 2013. We only expected a handful of people to show up, but we were surprised to find 80+ people at a first time meetup for a newly released film! It was an inspiring meetup, so many new friends were made, a bunch of wonderful costumes were created, and we got some great shots!

Due to the fantastic success of the meetup (and a wild "shoot for the moon" conversation between Lexi and Jon in the dealers room), a few of us decided to create our own Pacific Rim convention!

Jon and Lexi (co-con chairs) quickly found three amazing people to help them make their wild dream a reality! Conni, Jessica, and Ally have been amazing help so far. With their help (and a few other amazing volunteers) we hope to bring you an amazing Convention!
