Taylor Swift 2022 - Part 1
Part 2
Omg not brynn and Patrick becoming insta official? (She deleted the story it seems)
We don't appreciate Patrick Alwyn enough.
"The family, now that I chose, to have your brother as my brother."
Taylor way of saying that she now sees Joe's younger brother Patrick as her brother. That's one of the most softest lyrics that she's ever written.
NO BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT MAD WOMAN FOR A SECOND?
I love it so much but here's all the Easter eggs/references I found:
This song is obviously about the media's portrayal of her and the entire coverage of her "celebrity feuds" in general
"Everytime you call me crazy, I get more crazy" is about her being seen/portrayed as a crazy/mad Woman who over reacts
"And there's nothing like a mad Woman/What a shame she went mad/ No one likes a mad woman/ You made her like that" This could be about how if a woman lashes out against/or reacts against all the shit they're put through instead of staying quiet and nice they're labelled and portrayed as "angry" or "emotional" or "crazy" or "mad". This could also be about how she was portrayed/treated
"you poke that bear until her claws come out and you find something to wrap your noose around" is about the same thing as the previous point. Women as poked, prodded and walked all over upon until they decide to stand up for themself when then they're harassed and labelled for acting out.
"And women like hunting witches, too/ Doing your dirties work for you". Remember in Reputation when she sang "they're burning all the witches even if you aren't one...so light me up"? I think she using witched to refer to herself again. This line is clearly about Kim Kardashian and how during the Famous music video feud, she was the one who came forward with the phone recording as "proof" while her husband did well...nothing.
"it's obvious that wanting me dead has really brought you two together". Again, obvious about Kim Kardashian/ Kanye West
"I'm taking my time cause you took everything from me" could be about the three year hiatus she went on before Reputation. In LWYMMD she sings about getting stronger and smarter with the nick of time and I'm feeling the same meaning here.
"good wives" again could be talking about Kim Kardashian here but I don't have much reasoning to back this one other than how they try to portray what a glamorous and prefect life they have
I found so many other Easter eggs and references in other songs but so many swifties have already pointed them out on Tumblr and twitter.

i haven’t heard people say this so i’m gonna guess that William Bowery is actuallt... 🥁 Patrick Alwyn. yes you read that right. he can play guitar and he is Joe’s little brother and guess what he is seventeen just like James
