Joe (1970). Two men, Bill, a wealthy conservative, and Joe, a far-right factory worker, form a dangerous bond after Bill confesses to murdering his daughter's drug dealer boyfriend to Joe.
While there are some pretty solid performances in this film, particularly from Peter Boyle as the titular Joe, it really is pretty dated, the whole thing panning out more as an afterschool special than the gritty, shocking movie I think it was intending to be. It’s also really oddly paced - dragging more often than not before a climactic final sequence that isn’t given enough time to breathe. This is one you can probably give a miss. 4/10.

In Dreams (Feat Drew De Four) (by Patrick McDermott)
When U-M grad Patrick McDermott produced his 4-track EP AWAKENINGS in 2013, he called on Ann Arbor musician Drew De Four for vocals. We're loving this track! If you are to, pick the album up on iTunes.

(I AM ON *MYSPACE* LISTENING TO MUSIC, AND IT'S EXHILARATING!)
So, this album is amazing. I found out about it through my love for Hannah Winkler, who sings the song "New World" on the EP.
What's cool about this album, I think, is that Patrick wrote all of the music but he has other people sing. I usually associate that type of music production with electronica and hip hop, but this album is a great mix of soft and hard rock. It's beautiful.
100% recommend.
