Guys....... and I say this with incredible unease...

Remember these pics? And how I pointed out that his eyes are too white... too highlighted?

I think I see a pattern emerging, and it’s starting to form with the addition of another thumbnail.

First, let’s review why these first two images keep catching my eye. What do they have in common?

Direct eye contact

Center of the frame

Face only/bottom of chin & up

Highlighted/Edited eyes

Not-so-friendly/Intense expression

Now look at entry number three:

He’s looking right at us

He’s in the middle of the frame

You can only see from chin-up

His eyes have been blacked out

And I wouldn’t call that a welcoming smile

And if the similarities weren’t bad enough, check out the timeline of their releases:

They’re precisely the same number of videos apart: five. Is that a significant number? I don’t know. (However, if you take Anti out of the mix, there are five egos left. I don’t want to jump to conclusions yet, though.)

I haven’t really been through the tag today, so I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this. I’m not sure if this is worthy of even minor flames at this point, but it’s a very interesting coincidence.... and you’d better believe I’m going to be waiting for the next few episodes with knots in my stomach.

There’s something up with these thumbnails, and I am determined to get to the bottom of it.
