People from Berga (Comarques Gironines, Catalonia) jump and sing to celebrate the beginning of their city's most beloved festivities: the Patum.

Held annually on the week of Corpus Christi, the oldest written document that talks about Berga's Patum dates from the year 1454. The celebration is based on the same elements as other Catalan traditional festivities called festes majors, which include tradicional dance, music, "giants" figures, bestiary, and demons fire dances.

Imagine there is a yearly event you love going to.

And imagine you like going alone but the fun is going with other people.

But saldy your closest friends don't really vibe with it.

So for the last 3 years, you have tried to invite other friends and share it with them.

And every single year something has happened leaving you completely devastated and not fully able to enjoy the event.

This year, you planned it in advance, you made sure everyone knew where they were going, and yet, the evening before, one of your friends decides to cancel, leaving you with extra costs for the things you had already payed and planned.
