Finally finished this one! One of the other automata teams on the ECLPS base. They’re the most recently established pilots before Kay el and co arrive when the story starts and Pilot the Pegasus Automata, a machine capable of flight thanks to the two Harpies making up the Cerebral Unit.
A Neasle and a Celluloid contribute to the machine’s lightning fast reflexes and hyperflexible locomotion on the cerebellar side, being lead at the helm by their human captain- Percy Cassati who- coincidentally- is deaf, and placed on a team of sophonts who use primarily nonverbal or non auditory communication. The arrangement has provided much insight into cospecies interactions and adaptive sign language among sophonts so far!
The team also adores Percy’s younger sister- Thalia- who finds herself tagging along while under his care on base. She doesn’t have many friends her age, but that could soon change.
