December 18, 1974 KNOWLES Paul John Knowles also known as The Casanova Killer was an American serial killer tied to the deaths of 18 people in 1974 though he claimed to have taken 35 lives. On December 18, 1974 Sheriff Earl Lee and Georgia Bureau of Investigation Agent Ronnie Angel were traveling with Knowles who was handcuffed in the back seat. Their destination was Henry County, Georgia where Knowles had admitted to dumping a handgun he had taken from Florida State Trooper Charles Eugene Campbell later killing him with the same weapon. The SBI reported "Knowles grabbed Lee's handgun, discharging it through the holster in the process and while Lee was struggling with Knowles and attempting to keep control of the vehicle, Angel fired three shots into Knowles' chest, killing him instantly".

Gerrit Wittmer & Paul Knowles went on tour with Sissy Spacek last year and played at Eyedrum in March.  This video was shot a few weeks later in Oberlin, OH.  It's often hard to figure out how to make an engaging set with music based on a laptop or electronics, but these guys nailed it.
