Alright, October was a weak month for me again, who would have thought! 😂
No, honestly, something has changed from the beginning of the year, when 6 books per month felt fairly manageable, to now, where I cut that number in half. I’m not sure what it is. I mean, I’ve just started my master’s programme and am kind of busy with that and also, I think I’ve just read longer books lately?
Who knows. I’m a little embarrassed, but also telling myself that I shouldn’t be! This is a good reading pace for me at the moment, one that’s enjoyable for me, reading is a hobby and all that, so why should I feel guilty for “only” reading three books this month?
Also if you have read three or less books this month… I see you, you’re still a valid bookworm, it’s actually 100% fine, no matter what people on here make it seem like and yeah, you’re good. ❤️
Books I’ve read in October, 2019:
- The Goldfinch (Donna Tartt)
- Ninth House (Leigh Bardugo)
Audiobooks I’ve listened to in October 2019:
- Starworld (Audrey Coulthurst & Paula Garner)
I really enjoyed all three of these a lot! The Goldfinch is a 4.5 goodreads stars for me, I think, Ninth House 3 stars and Starworld 4 stars.
