Sea Angel. Design explanation, typing, dex entries under cut. Drawn for a server I’m in.

Seacretive (sea + secretive) based on Embyronic Shells that Sea Angels have, Vigilangel (vigilante + angel) based on the Buccal Harpoons some Sea Angels use to hunt prey. Evolves with friendship bc its trusts you enough to “come out of its shell.”

Water ➡️ Water / Fighting

Seacretive: “Predators know to hunt and eat it now, and to make sure it or any others that see the hunt don’t escape, lest any of them evolve and wreck havoc on their homes in revenge.” / “They are born with a thick shell to protect them from the jaws of predators. Still, few make it to their evolution.”

Vigilangel: “They have developed harpoon-like wings that they use to torpedo themselves at high speeds and attack in the same quick motion. They get irritated when things are too peaceful.” / “Their violent reputation is a result of this Pokémon’s strong sense of justice that motivates its every action. They spend all their time practicing new techniques to exact retribution onto their enemies.”
