Hi, this is figureskatereddy. I’m an art blog. I’m trying to show off some characters and location design, I tend to hide my OCs away since I want to use them professionally one day and want them all to be cool reveals but maybe that day will never fully come so here I am.

Have a music box with a compartment to put a picture in it. I randomly drew the name of this old project out of an old can I have so I drew this for the box. Dont like the shadow of the villain too much, I wasnt paying attention when I made it. Proud of the lighting and shading though, I don’t do that too often in color.

Ed Edd n’ Eddy is one of my lifelong interests. A lot of my art is inspired by Mr. Antonucci’s 3 bumbling fools— this art blog is named after a line in the series bible. I played Risk of Rain Returns on the Switch and greatly enjoyed it. I envisioned the 3 Eds as robots with interconnected lore. These are a few months old and I never wrote their lore down, so this is all from memory, I hope it all still makes sense. Descriptions under cut.

Theseus is intently interested in the monsterlife on the planets. His basic attack is a bearhug that crushes enemies. Slow, tanky, and strong. Implication was that his recklessness has damaged him many times, and he has been rebuilt by ??? often over the years, so much that he is a robotic Ship of Theseus.

??? is the mechanic of the 3, and is constantly patching and rebuilding his friends. I envisioned him to have some sort of drone-mechanic before I had unlocked HAN-D— now, perhaps some sort of “Robotnik” ability, where certain organic enemies could modified into drones (weaker than the Jar of Souls, of course).

Theft is a CHEF bot that has been heavily modified: his boarding notes would have implied he belonged to a character analogous to Eddy’s Older Brother who was a charlatan magician who used his CHEF bot in his acts (as the CHEF description mentions they are highly influenced by their surroundings). Theft was seperated during the crash and the 3 robots formed a rogue group together. His feats are based more around magic tricks than food anymore. He can still make a mean omelette though!

Purple Goblin, a sloth / rabbit creature, sketch showing two possible variants: the Verdan, a Giant Ground Sloth / rabbit, and Barghest, a porcupine / rabbit monster.

Goblins in my homebrew are silly little guys forced to fight. If they live for 100 years they become a psychic ground sloth, which helps justify a potential Kitsune player species in my mind. Barghest is the evil conquering demon trying to make something powerful like a Verdan without making it strong enough to resist him and making a cannibalistic beast instead. So he used them to hunt rogue goblins.

Was discussing my MLP rewrite with my partner and Cloudsdale came up. They think clouds make poor architecture so the rewritten Cloudsdale has a clifftop segment to walk on for le non-pegasus and then a cloud segment that’s tethered offscreen for the cool magic pegasus cloudwalking.

Did a little Session 0 with my sibling and I mentioned the Goblin’s plight of their pantheon being conquered so they took it upon themself to make their journey abt freeing the goblins. Theyre so cool.

Tried to mimic the Mario art style a bit. Mario Wonder OCs, these two run around the map and sell exclusively flower-related items. Do not ask for mushrooms.

3 WC cat designs for a quick design game I did with my partner. First is Troutstream, Ruthless Fisher, blue tabby with a scarred eye. Second is Duckbrook, Migration Expert, orange longhair with wing-like patterning. Third is Shadowstep, Quietest Hunter, black and grey with scars all over body.

Troutstream: set to be a hunter but blinded by a domestic dog, trained to be a fisher instead and hates it

Duckbrook: once a kittypet to a fowl hunter, now lives in a clan and has an eerie sense of when and where migrations occur

Shadowstep: abandoned kittypet, attacked by others and strangled by their own collar. The bell on their collar made them extremely adept at stalking silently, even with it off.

4 red sketches of homebrew Firbolg. More sheepish, have flowers or thorns growing in their wool. All from 2024. Trying to figure out Firbolgs for my homebrew setting, not sure if should go sheep route still or go more Llama-esque since I dont have a South American ungulate yet… hrm. Annoys me that theyre cow-like and then Minotaurs also exist
