“You’re kidding,” Basil noted with fake sarcasm before turning with a smirk to Kit. He loved pissing off his sister, and this was just one of the easiest ways to do it. His sister stormed off and he just laughed, assuming Kit would join in. He shoved him when he realized he was off in his own world. 

                “God, what’s wrong with you?! Did I do something,              or did you just decide it’d be fun to ignore me today?”

Carson stood in front of the mirror, and noticed Cain in her peripheral vision. She realized that she was taking forever to get ready, but him standing there waiting didn’t really help to speed her up. 

            “I completely accept that I am taking forever, but are you just             going to continue to stare? Contrary to popular belief, I don’t                                                                            wake up looking like this.

Emma turned around for a second to try and estimate just how many people were in this damn place, only for her to turn back and notice that Katelyn was gone. Normally her best friend would reach back for her hand and just drag her through the crowd, but a lot had been going on, so later Emma would understand but now panic was rushing over and thank God she found a gap in the crowd, otherwise there might have been passer-byes tripping over the panicking girl. She closed her eyes when she found a seat, placing her hands on the cold bar-top and taking a deep breath; she would look around for Katelyn later.
